And so begins General Mikaela's invasion of Europe, not since Patton and Eisenhower have we seen this many American Flags raised to the highest. I've always thought that great slalom skiing was an art form, but watching her skill brings one back to when you see the Milky Way for the first time without any lights near, the kind of beautiful that crowds stray thought from your mind.

Mikaela has the "deer in the headlight" look when she found out that she had won. She is such a modest champion. She has worked very hard to achieve her dream. Always the last to come off the training hill at Burke Mt. Academy.

She may be a beauty and it may have been her maiden win but Mikaela is the annihilator and no respecter of names or reputations. To beat Tina Maze by that margin is no mean feat. But then we all know now that Mikaela is no ordinary athlete. Fantastic👏💋🌹

This is the first time of very many that Mikaela robbed Hansdotter of a victory. Just imagine how much more Hansdotter, Holdener and Vhlova would win if it weren't for Shiffrin

im from SK and im fan of P.Vlhová but i dont hate Shiffrin because she is sometimes better than Petra..
