Those twizzles in his circular step sequence rivals those of today's ice dance teams! This SP was done with such ease, effortlessness, emotion. High quality from an underrated skater!! I miss him!

That circular step sequence was freaking BRILLIANT! Incredible speed & he matched the tone and aggressiveness of Rachmaninoff.

You're right about the second (straight-line) footwork sequence. However, the first footwork sequence (circular) was BRILLIANT!

He has what I call "quiet skates". You don't hear him landing jumps, spins or footwork. His skating skills are superior to what we see today. Sucks that he retired. Wish he was still skating.

+Troy Turner Yup. He has that "flowing edge". The edges are so deep and smooth. I guess that's why he has such brilliant foot works.

Ji-Eun Kim Exactly. You don't even hear him JUMP. The only other person I never heard jump was Kim Yu-Na.

+Troy Turner Agreed! :)

Ji-Eun Kim They go into their jumps with a lot of speed, land the jumps and come out of them with even more speed but the landings are as light as a feather!

That footwork was absolutely smooth and beautiful to watch. However, it didn't really fit with the music.
