Thank you so much for this! Wire is probably the component that gives me the most angina. I’ve recently started with copper and have been using coated. But I also have some bare copper. And I got some clear coat but haven’t tried using it yet. It’s so much for my brain. 😮

Thank you, I believe you covered the topic of wire thoroughly. I especially appreciate the last bit where you advise on different gauge combos for different sized pieces. I have lots of random wire and trying to wrap different natural drilled stones-jasper, agates, chalcedony, and more. Wanting to use wire but so confused with youtube designs and it's very frustrating. I keep trying=I feel this wire is like what you first showed in the bag-i bought from amazon. I rarely use aluminum. It’s way too soft for things I do. I’ll use the thick, flat aluminum wire for some things.

Parawire! I just got scammed by this supplier! They charged me an increased shipping fee of almost 80 dollars!!! Then, after opening a dispute with PayPal because they admitted the mistake, they lied to them too! Moral of the story: for a shipment to Italy, I paid 111 dollars for a package of not even a pound!!! They are scammers!
