It seems that the Max Attack is just the Hurricane with barrel and stock attachments. Their shells look very similar.

If it was compatible with all darts and mags it would be a really good blaster and a competitor to the retaliator but like you said the incompatibility ruins it for many people

Like a bunch of other commenters pointed out, the lack of Nerf-Elite-size compatibility and cross-compatibility with N-strike mags just hurts it so bad. I know Zuru darts are shorter than Nerf Elite darts and the heads are wider, but Zuru could have made their mag-fed blasters with N-strike compatible mags, but had a little wall in the back to stop the Zuru darts from sitting back too far, and making Zuru darts a more attractive option for Nerf and Buzz Bee mag-fed blasters. Of course, we know that Zuru darts aren't as accurate as Precise Pro, Wafflehead, or Accustrike/accufake darts, but making their mag-fed blasters with N-strike mag compatibility opens up those options and makes those blasters more attractive to us. Still love the Reflex 6 though...

We’ve had these blasters for around 2 years but this blaster came in yellow and that’s it I personally like the American Colour Scheme Better but I prefer our red regeneratior colour scheme

I took about 20 nerf darts and cut of about 1 cm of the foam and now they fit nicely in my X-shot mag! They work well with X-shot and still work with nerf aswell!

Yeah there are 3 rd party dart cutter kits which can do like 10 at a time lotta work though !

I agree about the color scheme and the look of it. This possibly would be good for someone that is looking to get into the hobby, but I do see some modding potential. Not a fan of the top slide on a rifle style though.

Cj Nerf depending on the blaster. Top and hammer style primes isn't bad if is on a pistol type. But for something like this; the shotgun pump style or bolt prime would've been better.

Tip for removing stickers... Use a blow dryer and move it back and forth over the area to heat up the adhesive and it should peel cleanly off

or just tear most of it off and dip abit of cleaning vinegar on the left over glue spots. after 5 minutes or so it shpuld was off easily

Cj, you can use isopropyl alcohol (70%+) on a rag and it'll tear the paper off and clean off the sticky really well.

There was a lot of disappointment shared when this came out with the mags not being compatible, particularly given the nice sculpt that was used for this and the pistol model. Coming out just after the Buzzbee cross compat probably cost Zuru some traction with parts of the hobby. You have to admire the sculpts though. Nice shells. This new white/blue colour scheme is very attractive.

i modded my 2017 original yellow version into a pump action with a big cardboard roll around the barrel and a metal pole from a old scanner and cardboard pole on each side of the prime grip

I was born around 11 years ago, and all I loved were these contraptions and how they work. But most importantly, guns. My grandpa always make these paper guns, it was amazing, until I got my first toy gun, I fell in love with it, but other kids make fun of me. Then shot me in the ear with a nerf or something. I was so pissed. Then I was more interested in airsoft because I saw one in a playground, it was a pistol with a orange strap in front, they were so pretty, years passed and I still dont have one, but I have this XSHOT MAX ATTACK!!! I was so excited to try this baby out. It sniper pretty good. It I still have it and love it. Its a good sniper. Don't mention that I accidentally shot my cousin while he is sleeping. That's how accurate it is. Trust me, it's a really good gun. May this legend live forever.

try using a hair dryer to take the stickers off. I have found soaking stickers in water sometimes works too

Stickers. WD40. Works great as a sticker remover. If you can, remove most of the sticker by hand, especially if the sticker has a plastic top layer. Let it soak for a few minutes, then gently rub the glue off. Repeat if neccesary, clean with dishwashing liquid (by hand). Alcohol (96%) works too, don't use acetone or thinner as that will melt your plastics. But regular rubbing alcohol works fine.

So I just bought this today and straight out of the box the trigger got jammed the pump back got jammed the mags got jammed and keeps on misfiring.. I'll be taking this back Monday morning

Hello, thanks for the great video. I just got this Max Attack. The product was overall great as mentioned but when I fired with the cartridge is fully loaded with 10 darts, the first dart always stuck. Is it due to the damaged dart or product failure?

If the darts are new Then it could be product failure or are you overloading the mag if not maybe leave one out and test again

I have a couple questions: -can you take the barrel extension thingy off the blaster? -What is its price range in euros? -The site I want to buy it from says it comes with 24 darts instead of 90, but it is brand new and in the package. Might the shop be mistaken or is there a version of this blaster that comes with just 1 magazine and 24 darts? - Don't the magazines look better if you just use a black marker to cover the stickers? :)

The Zuru X shot mags are smaller so only ammo that will fit is Zuru X shot Ammo unless you mod normal nerf elite darts not really worth it in my opinion but can be done . Thanks for the feedback and question Eric

I have the blaster and if you wanted to know my opinion then it's a defective, broken, gun. 98% of the time, the bullets either don't shoot or get stuck in the gun barrel, I can never have fun with it.
