Those water crossings didn't look deep enough for a Schwimmwagen ;-) But it was a fine looking Schwimmwagen. The video makes it clear--teamwork is required in the mud. It was a real eye-opener. Good job!

I see BMW R75 and Zundapp KS750 sliding down to the lowest point, spinning 2 wheels of 3. In your "BMW Dnepr MW M72 K750 ural sidecarmud in Bieszczady mountain" video, I see a single-wheel drive (with the sidecar passerger in pink) doing something the heavy 2-wheel-drive rides could not. Both very good videos. Best regards.

I just noticed the dates. This video deserves more attention than it has received. In that muddy place where they worked so hard, I wonder if anyone tried it with differential unlocked and a bit more throttle discipline. Spin both wheels and you go to the low side, leading with those spinning wheels. I think this is how that Zundapp KS-750 got sideways so quickly. Just my thoughts. Best regards.

Cool bikes. If BMW were to make these again with their modern 1200cc boxer engine and their high quality, they would have a winner. Ural would be out of busines. Why doesn't BMW make a retro bike?
