IMO they should make Attack Speed work similarly to Armor/MR or Ability Haste/CDR. No true "attack speed cap", but each subsequent attack speed item is less and less effective. The "max attack speed" from items alone should DEFINITELY be higher than 2.5, but then the crazy 4+ speeds that champions like Bel'veth could reach are severely mitigated/harder to reach. Old Lethal Tempo was SO COOL, and such a "diminishing returns" system would be a lot easier to balance.

It actually is the exact same code, but the formula is essentially behaves in reverse because armor/mr and CDR are reducing and atk spd is increasing.

You usually go into a game knowing what you wanna build because you have to take the correct runes, after that the items themselves will depend on matchup

you should play Turret or Tankmo and see how high you can climb. (turret teemo is just teemo with 1 to 3 attack speed items [bork, rageblade, or nashors] and then tanky/hp items )
