Impressive 😲 when I see your BPM and a I think at that rate I'll be in zone 6 😁 really strong raw power 💪

Thanks Rodrigo! Yeah, heart rate was a little higher than I'd have liked here. Hopefully it was because my chest is a little funny at the moment, and that it will be a bit lower next time.

Wow, Lee! 🎉 Just brilliant work! 💪 🚲 To come back from the mid ride blip was amazing and then to go for the win, after doing what you set out to do, must have taken some willpower 👊

Thanks Simon. 👊 It was nice to get a win. I just thought it's the first time in months I've had the chance to bag one, so I should give it a decent try. But still a bit miffed about losing power during the PR attempt. I'll go back at it later next week. And now I know the Army put on this series, well, it's war! Lol

Man that was good! I never watch iTT videos, but this was one to watch. First of all, congrats on a massive PR and a great win! But most of all congrats for being able to keep pushing when you thought you were done. So much of this is in the mind. Finding the will do do just that little extra bit of work is so rewarding; both mentally and results-wise. Setting new standards for 2024 early on!

Thanks Thomas. 👊 They're definitely not that much fun to watch, so appreciate the sheer nerdary of anyone who sits through this. Yeah, I do agree with that. There's a lot of it that's seeing how deep into being uncomfortable you can go. There's a temptation to quit well before the legs/energy system needs to. I really started to appreciate that in the second FRR.

Nicely done! Looking extremely solid, even when you hit that bump, you regrouped. Phenomenal work, congratulations!

Great job Lee, looking really strong and to set a new FTP when you aren't even feeling 100% is really impressive! And you won a race you weren't even interested in winning! Congrats mate 👊💪💪💪

Thanks mate 👊 Glad to finally get my 4.2wkg on ZP. And cool to finally get a win. I don't want to give the impression of nonchalance about it. Even if ITTs are...well, a bit uncool 😆

And he just keeps getting better and better! I suspect the next FRR tour is going to proove tough for me to keep up with you. Speaking of which, have you noticed that the pens are changing again? It looks like us GHT’s are going to be in the B pen with just the HAB’s - I like the idea of that! Keep up the good work. Old Andy
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
Thanks Andy 👊 I had one shot of beating you once, and I couldn't do it. It was the RT climb on the last stage. It's never going to happen (not that I mind). I hadn't seen that about the pens. That is good. We'll maybe be back at the pointy end of the race again. But it will make those A pens a bit of a ghost town. Did you see the number of riders in each pen across the different times? Often, the A pens had like a quarter of what the B pens had. And I think GHT was probably the category with the most riders in in the A pen. Take us out of it and there'll be hardly anyone in them at certain times.

Nice work, man. I always thought I hated the TT, but I’ve started to come around to them. I was watching your camera view pedal in fast forward and was wondering what that looked like in real time JUST as you slowed it down a bit. Yep, misery confirmed. Haha
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
Haha thanks Joe! I think they're kind of cool, but also kind of not. I've come around to them a bit more recently, though. I really wanted to do this in a regular scratch race, but couldn't get a suitable one at the time I had free. Probably a waste of time, but I'd just like to try it.

Super effort. A little recovery in the middle and blow through the 2nd half with a kicker at the end. Very impressive. It'll payoff bigtime in races where you'll either be well rested for the sprint or make the breakaway stick. Or maybe both. Gonna need some extra shelves for the trophy case. Just sayin.

Thanks Roger. I don't seem to be any closer to winning, but that's ok. Focusing on PRs and getting stronger these days.
