Some massive effort to be in this race! Crazy power! Makes the B category which I race look like a Sunday ride...

well done - top effort; can feel the pain of that race. The group really 'rules' on zwift, 10-20 seconds just impossible to get back on with a thumping group keeping the same watts as you. Tour Zwift is currently on, some fun to be had there more random whacky racing. keep on rolling Ed.

well to be fair thats how racing irl works. if theyre all doing 350 and youre doing 350 you arent gonna close the gap.

I remember this race, talk about turning yourself inside out. I always think of the last 10km of this race and how hard you pushed yourself when I'm doing a tough interval session

I do the same. Gives me confidence that I can push harder than I think.

Does the w/kg count how fast you go? Cause than people cut cheat with their kg..?!
@chriswitek94559 күн бұрын
ive certainly held a gap and gotten people to shut down and give up the chase by just matching their power. oh youre gonna go up 1w/kg? cool me too. meanwhile im dying 1000 deaths but they dont know that lol

Gotten obsessed with the grade, thanks for recap. I'm stuck at 11min flat, 349 average. Should I focus on shorter vo2 stuff at 380 for a bit? Or higher 400ish and less volume? I'm Not young, 49.

Over and unders would help a lot i think. Plus the old 3-5 min intervals. and some low cadence work at FTP (then when you ride at FTP at normal cadence it feels easier and you can push harder) I'm similar age and power to you. Working with an ex pro coach.
