The “battle tower” is actually called the combat pillar, which is different from a battle tower because you fight through 5 floors, each with 10 trainers each getting stronger then the last, and at the end of each floor, you fight a level leader who is the strongest trainer in the floor. It’s a really cool thing

This fangame is honestly a very underrated. Loved this game when I played through it. The quiz does actually impact your trainer type. Your trainer type gives you a few bonuses based on how many badges you have.

Your friendship level with pokemon does help a little. The higher your friendship the more they dodge moves and in some versions even hold on at 1 hp to not disappoint you.

patches aint only in elden ring but also in dark souls 3 and various other fromsoft games. patches does kick you down from a height when he tells you about treasure being across a bridge in DS3

I made a mistake. I picked up this game and picked hard mode, wondering why there wasn't a medium difficulty or something. The first gym might actually be impossible with a forced level cap and team cap. I swear her pokemon are maxxed EVs and her Ace even violates the level cap. I need help.

Make sure you get the phanpy from the trade and then you just need to worry about the chinchou, I've struggled with every gym so far but with some planning and grinding you get there

How are you gonna be against stone evolutions because it needs a third party but use a trade and friendship evolution

Selecto uses shiftry (a stone evo), golem (a trade evo), and electro ore (a trade with an item evo). He doesn't have a friendship evo and is the one to specifically be against 3rd party evolutions. His boss, Scarlett, is the one with a friendship evo (umbreon). She also has Dusknoir (another trade with an item evo) and Milotic (technically could have evolved via beauty, but trading with a prism scale is more likely). Scarlett might share Selecto's disdain for 3rd party evolutions, but her main concern seems to be letting the strong eliminate the weak (not necessarily being picky as to what qualities determine strength or weakness).
