Remember the game was only done till just before the kyurem fight back then)

See I feel like at first I thought the “edginess” was cringe but they lean into it enough to make it fun and come on when the first gym leaders best friend was a rock that ended up (with perfect comedic timing) to be reshiram and that’s when they basically reveal legendaries will be everywhere, that was the icing on the cake for me

@@Missingno_Miner being versatile doesn't make it good lmao it's stats arent worth the mega evolution slot when compared to so many others. It has ok everything, it's a jack of all trades master of none, but mega evolutions are supposed to be game changing. Turning Eevee, an ass Pokémon, into a slightly less ass Pokémon isn't worth the mega evolution slot when there's 3 different forms of metagross for example. Hell even things like delta scizor are only brought down by their typing and just have infinitely superior stats if you get speed EVs and IVs it can become a BEAST. Not only this but it means that you have to stick with an Eevee until level 40 ish when you finally get the mega stone, which basically means you don't have a starter for a surprising portion of the game. The inclusion of deltas adds more than enough variety, and while mega Eevee is a cool Pokémon it's basically just a kekleon with upps and downs because it can't be half of the types that are good like ghost, steel, dragon or ground. By the time you get mega Eevee, it's only good because it's the only mega you've got, but if you use any of the other 3 starters you'll see how giga broken some of the deltas and megas are in that game, and how mega Eevee gets outshone by literally everything, and as soon as you get basically any other mega you will replace it immediately. Overall its a cheap gimmick that's fun and strong in theory but really doesn't work in practise. Also if you take Eevee as the starter it's physically impossible to complete the dex which is just the cherry on top on why taking Eevee as your starter is just cock and ball torture. I've used it several times, first playthrough in fact I evolved it into an umbreon so I couldn't use the mega, and then boxed it at like level 50 because the Pokémon I had by that point made umbreon redundant. In other playthroughs it's very easy to keep the delta starters the entire game and be happy with them because they excel at what they do.

Being able to freely change between up to four pokemon with drastically different stat distributions and abilities(including some strong ones like magic bounce and water/volt absorb) depending on what moveset you want to use? That's incredibly strong, and well worth the wait. Also, Insurgence's difficulty very easily allows you to be at level 40 shortly after the second gym. It's really not that big of a deal. While picking the other starters is perfectly valid, Mega Eevee is most definitely among the best mons in the game.

A couple of fun facts: Pokemon Insurgence has, if I remember right, two story modes; a tame version, and an "edgy" version. In the edgy version, the Cults tend to kill people. That opening segment where Persephone is summoning Darkrai for the first time (that we see, at least?) Sacrifices a cult member to do it, then murders another one in cold blood when they want to try again. Those Sky Cultists that just drop the hiker in a hole? They collapse the hole and bury the dude, simply because he now knows they exist, and they try to keep that a secret. There are more such examples, too. Also, that Primal Giratina? Its ability is "Omnitype", which means that, defensively, it is considered to be EVERY TYPE. Which means its only weakness is a regular rock weakness. And that Delta Volarona of Reukra's... isn't just a Delta Volcarona. It's an *armored* Delta Volcarona.

Idk a lot of people clown on 9 but I’ve loved it and I disliked 6-8 so much other than remakes (let’s go not included in good remakes of course) and I probably like gen 9 because imo the new gen Pokémon have been some of the coolest and most fun to play as well as Tera typing being the best new mechanic to happen to the game (so much better than mega evos and whatever the other dumb one was from gen 7 I think)

You actually got a few Plot details wrong. The Perfection Cult did not create the Delta Species entirely, they’re mostly a natural occurrence first discovered in the Holon Region from the TCG, which is a big part of the Post-Game, but they did make a few of them: the Starters at the beginning of the game and the Postgame-only Larvesta being some of their creations. The Leader of the Abyssal Cult wasn’t after the Blue Orb (she had that already lol), she was after the Silver Wing she had stashed below it. In the “Dark” story, the more canon version of the plotline, Damian is actually infected with the Pokérus. Beyond that, it was a Shard of the Crystal that shattered on the top of the Auger’s tower that kept Kyogre contained, not the Blue Orb (I think lol).

I've spent hundreds of hours on this game as a casual player trying to complete the dex and NEVER managed to do it. Either because A) I chose Eevee not knowing that if you do, it's automatically impossible to complete the dex because it means that you miss out on one of the delta starters. B) I accidentally faint a one-time encounter such as deltas. C) Bad RNG. Or D) Not realising that you can't go back and fight legendaries later on, like giratina. You get ONE chance and tbh I just gave up and used a master ball. There's so many ways that you can fuck this game up in terms of catching them all, I really wanted to do shiny hunting but I gave up after completing the dex except for having 1 Pokémon missing. I'd encountered it, but not caught it. I thought it was strange, and I nearly cried when I learned that apparently I accidentally fainted kyogre without realising somehow. Probably the most tragic gaming incident that's ever happened to me. Ever since then I've only done challenges like iron man's and randomizers.

I have new challenge For you : Can You beat ____ with only one move on your pokemon . Explanation - As the name says you can Only Use One move out of 4 in every of your pokemon . You can't delete your moves at the start but I guess you won't cheat so yeah its possible . While your pokemon levels up you can change that one move With another stronger move . I'm currently Trying It in pokemon emerald And It is definitely possible if you think you won't cheat to Use 2 or more moves in a single mon .
