If it will bottleneck you I had a ryzen 5 2600 even so until I changed to the ryzen 5 5600 so I recommend a latest or last generation processor to avoid problems

Shhh For you RTX 3060 owners who can only dream of 4k @60Hz on your 4k TV (at least my usage) This is time stamped link, few seconds before the 4k settings guide in this clip, so watch 10 secs it or less in is the 4k settings. Pause clip on the settings, open up GTA V and make the changes according to the Clips info. (Alt+Tab to switch between game and the video guide) kzbin.info/www/bejne/epLTloiqqaeKqdU Dont forget to bookmark the clip incase you mes up settings later. Or If you think you'll just use the nvdia optimizer, thinking its going to be better.. yeah.. didnt appear to be better than this guide imho

I upgraded from 1060 to a 3060 12GB after almost 6 years of using my 1060 and i wonder if the 3060 is good enough that i could consider to buy a 4k Monitor soon. The rtx 3060 is a 1080/1440p card, i wouldn't recommend it for 4k gaming

so that depends. if you're going to play older games from say...2016 (ballpark estimate) and before that, you can definitely play 95% of those games at 4k medium-high settings. but anything newerish has no chance at 4k with the 3060

My information source is a benchmark video of The Witcher 3. The person tested the 3060 at 4k Ultra settings and averaged 45 fps. so going to medium/high will comfortably net you 60 fps at 4k, and the game came out in 2015 I believe.

I have one. Very similar performance to a 6650 xt. For me… I’m getting high fps 1080p in most games. 60-80fps in 1440p for most games, and 30-50fps 4k in low settings. Great budget card.

Online is heavier but with max settings without msaa it'll be above 100 fps all the time normally

Online is more CPU bound. So you need a good CPU with a good single-core performance. At least on populated lobbies, it is a different story on private lobbies.

@@talhamushtaq4701 18year-old GPU ?? you mean back from 2004 ?? *WOW* , can you specify model ? nVIDIA had launched their GeForce 6xxx-line of GPUs back then , from the side of ATi i believe it was the Radeon X800/X700 XT-line. For a browsing/retro gaming PC i don't think you'll have a problem with such a system , its 8GB RAM and the CPU will do the job just fine for browsing purposes , so if you don't care for modern games don't worry , your PC is just fine .( it can even play new games just fine through a GeForce NOW membership ) (*although you could upgrade your GPU to a GTX560Ti/GTX650Ti boost/GTX750Ti ,or an AMD equivalent on ebay , they will cost around 50$ and they are all far better than a 2004 GPU )
