Blooming heck. I think speccy cardboard may rule over gameboy cardboard 😮. I had very few boxed speccy titles growing up; I can only think of the pack ins (survival, make a chip etc) and robocop. Digging the heroquest titles and power drift. Didn’t know viz got a release 😜. Great stuff mate, cheers for the share!

They are cool these little boxes mate, heroquest is a great game, shame it never got ported to anything else. Reckon it would've done well on the consoles.

Just got round to watching. As always, enjoy watching and great titles their. I've been thinking about getting the ZX Spectrum next month. Only owned the ZX81 back in the day

Great trip down memory lane was that Dave. I had Crack Down bitd, and it's currently on my want list. I remember enjoying it. Myth was great. One of the last Speccy games I picked up too.

Myth is brilliant mate, would love to complete it on camera for the channel. Sadly it's beyond me these days. Enjoy going through the collections, reminds me of what I've got 🤣

Mate how far through are we cos this is already one of the best Speccy collections I've seen! I like those cardboard box games too - they were premium releases when I was a kid so I didn't get many! Looking forward to seeing the rest, it's interesting hearing when the games are different to the C64 like Myth. I'd vote for Mega Drive next 👍

I dont have Make a Chip🤣 Awesome part of the collection here mate, have to agree, those small cardboard boxes are fantastic, do you know how many of those there are in a full set then? Really like the clamshells aswell, you got some classics there, Tapper is awesome, and you're right, brilliant arcade Makes you laugh nowadays how they never put the Speccy graphics on the boxes, maybe they didn't want to make the c64 owners jealous 🤣 MD ok SMS is good mate, Sega FTW 👍

I think your right, left the screen shots of so whsmiths wasn't full of c64 owners crying all day 🤣. Fairly sure I have a spare make a chip, if so I will put it to one side for you. As for how many speccy games got released in the boxes, I reckon... a lot 🤣

Great collection Dave. Can't wait to see the continuation of this. chase HQ2 is like the original but you're in a Nissan 300ZX, and you can shoot as well as bash the baddies. Good arcade game. not bad on the Amiga. Not played the Speccy version. Going to enjoy the rest of the vid now :) Also...get digging. ;) :D

Will have to try chase hq 2, I'm curious to see if it's as good as the original. Always fancied a 300zx, don't see many about these days. Plenty more dusty old tapes to look through mate, thanks for watching.

@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 I owned a 300ZX Twin Turbo for a while. Mine was a lemon with a Fugly body kit on it, but they're still great cars. I'd go another one, but I'd get the NA not the Turbo as less hassle to look after.

I didn't like Alien Storm either, even the arcade game was fairly shite. Love Badlands, Speccy port was great! "Crackdown, he looks like he's having some sort of fit" hahaha good old 80's coverart😂 I was late to Myth, brilliant game, not sure how I missed it back in the day. There was a cardboard box version of Chaos sadly, why sadly? Because it's impossible or super expensive to find. Lords of Chaos was great aswell. Super Off Road was great on Speccy, what an arcade game that was! Space Crusade I need on Speccy, have the Amiga version though. Sam Fox, haha every self respecting hot blooded teen owned that one😛 There are tons of great card box and clams that are missing from your collection, you are far from done Dave!😁
