was that music really made on a spectrum? that delay and sub base must have been done in a modern DAW?

Hard to believe, right? There are actually several trackers for the ZX Spectrum that allow for complex music creation, including effects like delay and sub-bass They likely used the most popular tracker, Vortex Tracker II for Windows, for convenience, but the final sound is 100% Spectrum.
