Hey, I found your channel about half a year ago through your video on the C64 and been watching every video since. I remember that one had thousands of views, but only now did I just notice most of your videos have only 20-60 views. I'm really surprised, they're well made and have cool choices for topics and the past 6 months you've been making these videos for just me and like 50 other people? Well thanks a lot and hope you manage to make it big some time, it would be well deserved!

Good work sir, but there were some omissions and errors in what you said about the Spectrum. There were 3 core models and they all had variants, which were: Original (rubber key): 16k and 48k - Z80 CPU running at 3.5 Mhz, no sound chip. All of the keys had multiple functions that reduced the amount of typing required when developing BASIC programs. For example if you pressed the 'P' key and the flashing cursor had a 'K' within it then the word 'PRINT' would appear. This is a very important aspect of the machine that needs to be realised. Plus: 48k and 128k variants with a revised keyboard and a reset button. The 128+ had the extra ram and a custom AY-3-8912 sound chip that produced 3 channel sound and was the same one found in the Amstrad CPC and MSX computers. It also had an RGB out socket and all sound was emitted through the TV rather than via a speaker on the Spectrum itself. Finally it had a brand new BASIC interpreter that was contained in a 32 KB ROM chip. +2/+3: Known as the Amstrad models, these came into being after Amstrad bought the rights of the Spectrum from Sinclair and made their own models. It had a traditional raised keyboard with no reference to the function keys of the original and Plus machines, although they still worked in the same way, you just couldn't see which key did what. The +2's had the same innards as the +128 with a built in tape drive and the +3 had a 3" floppy drive. The Interface 2 had a ROM socket for games that was oddly limited to 16 kB of RAM, making the selection somewhat limited. Nevertheless these are highly sought after, with many of the early Ultimate/Rare games appearing on this format. Currently there are plans to release a ZX Spectrum Next that has the CPU running at 7 Mz making games run a lot smoother. Keep up the excellent work!
