Back in September 2022 I was in Assen and the weather was 10 °C with rain all day long. The wet grip in Assen is crazy good, even the TC was bored. You can't compare laptimes in wet conditions, but I was happy with my 1:57,9 in these conditions and was fastest of the day. This Ducati rider was almost as fast with less power. It was fun following him :) I tested my GoPro 11 there with different settings so it looks a bit different. Also I smoothened the brake and suspension values on the overlay to look more reel. How do you like it?

So you discovered a great secret - it's not so much about the street being wet or dry - but wet and clean or wet and dirty, as we saw here. (1) Still too many people seem to be educated to realize wether a road is dry or wet, instead of becoming able to to realize the differences between one wet and another wet (or wet plus cold). You must do the Set up much softer for rain,a hard bike is very bad to ride on wet streets,all things must go soft in rain!!

Was für ein geiles Video :) Hammer! Und richtig gut gefahren im Regen. 🥳 Teils hatte ich das Gefühl, dass auf der Bremse (geradeaus) einiges mehr ginge, allerdings hätte ich aus den Kurven nie den Mut, so am Hahn zu ziehen. Von dem her: Hut ab!

Trotzdem macht nasse Straße nicht wirklich Spass,man ist viel zu gestresst wann wohl der Grip der fantastischen Regenreifen abreißen wird,gerade vorne wars das dann für 99,9% der Vorderrad Rutscher!! Deshalb immer erst anhalten dann absteigen!😉

Great riding man. I did the 180 Endurance on Assen on the first of octobre. Very wet day. I was the only rider in my team with rain tyres. Its a special thing to ride in the rain on track. It is so much more dynamic. Every lap the track changes, some parts get dryer while other parts get wetter and you are just constantly adjusting to the track conditions. I also get more slides and moments in a single day of rain riding then 5 or 6 days of dry wetter riding. That gentle feeling of the rear tyre stepping out when leaving Stekkenwal and it just slowly coming back in line with the front👌. I had one big moment when I just accidentally clipped the curb on the exit of the GT chicane, wide open in second gear on 2008 ZX-10R so no TC. 🫣😅. TC will not save you then but still.

have not hit track day and very new to riding but it seems that when you corner you have your throttle completely closed and only when you hit the apex/leaning the bike up that you add throttle. So you cant have the throttle open at all while corning like just steady, not adding the throttle, or does it have to be completely closed?

Short corners: brake till apex, then start accelerating Long corners: brake how it feels good to you, apply steady throttle or light acceleration in full lean for some time, start accelerating at/after the apex. It all depends on the corner. Check out my other onboards to get more inputs when I use brake/throttle/lean :)

I cant belive that this are 46 lean angle,but i see it on the rear tire from the front bike!! The new rain tires are unbelivebel good,but with street legal tires, the ride on rain is very bad, question drive you with "ABS" on? or have you no Abs on your race bike,for wet race? Data recording sagt sogar 52° und da geht auch noch mehr. Der Grip in Assen im Nassen ist jetzt echt mega. Abs ist keins verbaut, das stört beim Rennmopped nur in der Regel
