ZX81 on Data Frog SF2000

The EightyOne core now works correctly with the Multicore, thanks to the help of the members of the Retro Handhelds Discord server.

Thank you very much for this video. Great to see ZX81 working on the SFC 2000, but I am dying to see ZX Spectrum games on this console and have my entire childhood games on the go. Any info on this ?

The Fuse core is already available in the current version of multicore, github.com/madcock/sf2000_multicore_cores/releases Inside the zip that you download you have information to add games but now only one configuration file can be loaded per core, not per game. So the mapping of the joypad and buttons is the same in all games. For the next version of multicore, a configuration file is loaded per game so the mapping is for each game. I have another video with ZX Spectrum games in SF2000

The EightyOne core will be available in next release of Multicore. Now you can compile from github

Is the machine worth it for 20 euro do you think? I know SNES performance isn't great.

Let each person decide if it is worth it or not. It is a very cheap console, it cost me €14 shipped to Spain. Since it is so cheap, it has deficiencies, such as lack of headphone jack, no screen brightness control, charging control,... Stock emulation is not perfect, especially on SNES and GBA. With multicore it improves a little and more systems are added but it is still not the best emulator console. You now have to decide if, with the deficiencies it has, it is worth spending the 20 dollars or if you prefer something more expensive but of better quality.
