Chaska is the most blatent example I can think of where character kits can completely ignore weapon type. It's just another limitation, even light cones align to paths and W engines in ZZZ align to agent type. Granted, in some of these cases you can use weapons on different types of characters but you usually lose the most impactful benefits by doing so.

Lan Yan is good depends on what team she is in. For past years i was waiting for anemo shielder to equip them with VV sets for swirl + shield base on my current team list. Never expected she arrives. Since my zhongli and other chars with shield skills but no swirl cant equip VV sets while swirling., though the downside is u will lose Zhongli elemental and physical shred for swirl + shield good for elemental reaction team.

I got her to C2 while pulling for Clorinde's C1, I've gotten her to Level 80/90 with 4/7/7. I've given her a capped out SacFrag, and stolen VV artifacts (ATK/ATK/CR) from Xianyun while I farm/box some more. 16.2k HP, 2135 ATK, 297 ME, Crit 66.4%/78.8%, and 133.7% ER. I just have to find a team I like her in.

I have no primos anymore and current banners got me one copy of her only. With lantern rites she'll be C1 but I'd have loved her C2... it sucks. At least I got Clorinde and she's super fun.

how tf neuvi gets buffed every single time. he can use mavuika as suub-dps, citlali also works in freeze comps and lanyan is like perfect for c0 f2p team of neuvillette.

@everythingdoesntlastforver1533 actually the if can be deleted. Hydro is the best element for sure but this is too much hoyo. Neuvi keeps getting buffed

@@joecabaji8217 because he's hydro, being hydro alone makes any character viable, not to mention hydro has no bad element reaction aside crystallize, so ofc his will team change or buff him often, they will have to only release geo characters/dps for him not to see any new character as a buff
