Great video. I love your “true to the directions” technique. However I hope that you can further explain your final analysis. At 8:25 you wash and rinse the panel. I saw the treated area actually repel the water and reveal the the shape of the taped square; it appeared bone dry. From the view of the video it appeared to push the water back upwards and redirecting the water away from the treated area. Your narrative was quite different and immediate which contradicted what I thought I saw. Can you please comment on your analysis. I love your videos and Zymol. My two world are conflicting!!!!

I am in shock...Since 1980 I have used Zymol products with pride. Over the years I would throw something in to try and a few I kept, mostly the Griots and Meguiar's. Then twenty years ago I just let my detailer take care of me every Thursday. Last year I decided to start doing it again and found a world full of wonderful products. Then Turtle Wax Solutions Ceramic Spray showed up and I was sold. So, when I heard about Zymol and Graphene, I was expecting another life changing moment like I had last year with Turtle 🐢 Wax. Ok, so, I did have that life changing moment but not the one I expected. Instead my faith in Zymol dropped through the floor.

I have used and applied it to all of my vehicles. However, I also use all Zymol products including autowash and wax. I use them on my BMW's and to be honest it was holding up very well. I wash my cars by hand once a week on average and did a paint correction and clay before application. I purchased two bottles initially and have used one completely up and compared it to a ceramic spray on a friends vehicle also. I was pretty impressed with the first application which lasted me approximately 6 months before I noticed the hydrophobic properties start to fade on the hood. I also applied it to some of the plastics on the car and the deep black improvement did not fade at the same rate. One note, I actually left the first application on the car for much longer than the 90-120 seconds, before spraying and buffing off. Not that it should make a difference but it was fully dry and slightly hazy\streaky before I completed the final step to buff off and shine.

I have used this Graphene Paint Shield on 2 different cars and my experience was a bit different. However, my expectations were also different. My cars are already prepped and ceramic coated (fully paint protected) and I wanted something that would enhance shine (for car club events) and be easy to apply. I use a lot of products, including Meguiars products, and most of them are great, but I like the ease of applying this Graphene Paint Shield, and I think the results are good. A side benefit is that it does not leave residue on plastic or rubber (like wax does), so I do not have to be extra careful in applying it. I also got a laugh at their "harder than Ceramic, harder than Diamond", and ignore it. Maybe it does not last (I have not tested it), but the paint feels great and looks great right after application. My cars stay indoors when not in use and I wash the cars by hand, myself, without any harsh detergents or things that would hurt the finish. I mostly wash to get dust off the car. So, I am not too worried about protection, and I agree that on stripped/unwaxed cars, this is probably not the right product and you are likely to be disappointed. But for me, it did exactly what I wanted - I can apply it in minutes to the whole car (with minimal effort), and it adds great depth/shine and the paint feels great to the touch. Yes, it is too expensive, but everything Zymol makes is costly, and a bottle will last me over a year.

I've gone through 3 bottles on customer cars now and the depth is VERY noticeable. I've heard back from one stating the car sheets water very well.
