I love Malaysia. Really miss my time in KL, the peninsula, and Kuching. Love the live video. I visited the Lens Library too!

Warm and humid as it always is! 🤣 The weather has been a little unpredictable recently though, could go from blazing sun to heavy downpour in a matter of hours

Excellent demonstration! This is very cool, but who else (besides tech reviewers) has a grip of extra iPhones? I just have one. This is Apple's way of selling more iPhones 😳

I don't think that lots of people would buy more iphones because of that feature, you can always borrow a device from someone in your house, it's a free feature, no need to criticize it

I thought you could use other people’s iPhone as well, nice for a gatherings or your local band or skating / sport activities. Sounds like a lot of fun and creative output if necessary instead of shelling out a whole rig with multiple cameras.

Considering that iPhone XS is selling for about $200 on eBay, you can get 4 of those for less than a thousand dollars. While most professional videographers likely have more professional demands for multicam, this does seem like a lower barrier to entry for amateurs to just set up and go.

What’s the difference between this Final Cut Pro 2 on iPad and Final Cut Pro on MacBook?

This is actually amazing and making my 2020 A12z iPad Pro looks… outdated now LOL. However using a bunch of pricey iphones (since you need the storage for videos) just to be your cameras still sounds like not a great idea… Wonder what’s the fix to this? Also, how about the heat? My 14PM still gets quite hot recording 4k24fps, in just 5-10m. I can barely even touch it.

How does this compare to a YoloBox for live streaming?

By far, the biggest issue I’ve had with iphone recording is storage. 4k ProRes Log will eat through internal storage. I bought a 2tb SansDisk Extreme Pro + WD Black 4 tb SSD to use with iphone. Iphone 15 pro max will not connect to either! How do you get around this issue?

That's odd, external SSD recording should work fine if you're rolling ProRes. Did you try formatting the SSDs with a Mac?
