Thanks for the video, I'm pretty much in the same situation as you but have a completely different opinion of acceptance. I also pay for 1gig down / 1gig up and your ethernet output was a bit better where mine was 57mbps down/ 80mbps up *I BELIEVE* is NOT acceptable! If we pay for 1gig, than we should be getting pretty darn close to it hardwired which is the reason I'm scanning videos here to see what other people's experiences are with the Zyxel Powerline. Note that my WIFI is almost exactly the same as my ethernet so for me, it's just wasted money. Oh well, I'm waiting for a call back from Zyxel tomorrow and Spectrum my internet carrier is also going to be here tomorrow to check my lines. I'll update if anything changes?

Hate to say it but it is time to wire your home one room at a time. Just buy 1000 feet and do it slowly room by room. I have couple of places to go but most of the home is covered with cat6. At the least I'm getting one gig speeds. I also have AT&T 300 fiber and I'm getting 300 + up and down. For you to only get 300 to 400, something is really wrong. You need to get a tech out to your home to check for db loss in the fiber. Sounds like a bad fiber splice.

Ahahhaha… yeah, been lazy. I know what I need to do, just haven’t been in a hurry to get up in that hot, hot attic. But when I do, I am thinking I might do Cat6a (10gig). It’s thicker, less flexible, and more expensive.

@@NetworkAdvisor Yeah go the easier route, I doubt much need to go 10gig in the home other then to say you did. ;)
