It’s been my main drive pedal for over a year. Lot of great sounds in this pedal. It really thickens your tone for single note stuff.

Just got my pre-loved goat-sucker in the post a few days ago. It's probably great at the ZZ thing, but I'm not the best judge of that. However, it does a filthy Soundgarden Superunknown, especially in the EEBBBB tuning. I admit I got it cos Zach could be ny brother with his musical taste and I love the name Chupacabra. I use it all the time to describe people at work who never really turn up to do their job. Mythical workers.........much talked about, never seen. I like the brightness, cuts through really well.

Great pedal. I have a v1.0. Zach is correct, it can sound like a swarm of bees into the wrong amp. Into the right amp, it is really ballsy with a unique tone. This pedal definitely a departure from the heap of OD pedals out there, and can really help with your signature tone.

I bought it!!! I’m so happy!!! So good. I have a Red Llama and a EHX Hot Tubes. The Chupacabra is the best. I my Twin Reverb, set to low gain, is THE sound I want!!! When I want more drive, I push it with my BB Preamp. What overdrive would you suggest to push the Chupacabra? I wanna know your suggestions.

Really want this pedal.. i have a tonemaster deluxe reverb..ive removed the tonecap so it takes drives alot better . Having done that has anybody tried that combo .chupacabra into tonemaster deluxe and any thoughts ... Great video.. loving the tone

How would you hook this up with the Neural DSP Tone King on my Mac/DAW? Right now, guitar is going into the Scarlett 2i2. Last thing I'm going to do is drag my Mac to a gig!! I wonder if you could use the Tone King plugin as a stand alone version in a "live" setting along with this pedal-but for the life of me, I can't envision the setup. Help please?

I just run the pedal into the guitar and put on my Apollo. And then I’ll use the tone king plug-in in logic. You could probably use the standalone tone, king software, and set your outputs to be your interface, and then run those to front of house if you wanted to do this live. Seems easier just to drag an amp to the gig.

@@MythosPedals The Quad Cortex doesn't have the same plugins as you and I have-we (I) have the plugins that go onto your MAC/PC and into your DAW-still-I guess you know where this is all heading. Been chasing that "tone" for years. But I am more close to it than I ever been in years thanks to you. Next payday will see a Chupacabra ordered. Plus that T-shirt also adds to the tone-You did know that didn't you? 🤣🤣
