This chick was over the house and said check this new girl out. She has a sound that is cruchy like Janis mixed with some BB blues. I was like fuck yeah. We all spent the rest of the night listen to ZZ and drinking jack...good night. Her music rocks. The fact most of what I have found is live studio recordings is incredible. A++

I get home from work with a hoarse voice from singing along with her CD (which I bought the very night I heard the rest of her music; Put The Gun Down is getting radio play here. That's what made me search her out).

She rocked a venue full of '50+ year-olds in Birmingham there to just see Clapton. That, my friends, was amazing to see. Would love to see her again. Next time she comes the B'ham, everyone will just be there to see her!!! Would be great if she played a smaller venue, like the Alabama Theater, Work Play, or Steel City!

"Criminal" is ZZ's words & melody over the music from Freddie Gibbs' song "Oil Money". It was originally on a mixtape she did called 11 Roses. He liked it so much that he joined her for the version on "Casket".
