Zidane is easy top 5 goat of football in my list. Zidane as a player was simply unbelievable. The control, passing, vision, and his calmness on the ball was Magical. A great first touch and technique, Eagle eye vision, intelligence, unrivaled balance . He shines like no others during finals, during great games, he left this “whoa” impression, and everyone, including the players around him, had the same feelings we all felt.

That's nonsense. I'm French, Zidane had a bad World Cup in 98, but a magnificent final. 98 was won thanks to the whole team and Zidane woke up at the right time for the final. In 2006 Zidane had a team made up of players like Ribéry, Makelele, Viera, Thierry Henry...but in 2006 he had a great World Cup. But his best competition was the euro 2000. For the 2022 final I don't know how you can consider that France had an advantage. The referee didn't give the advantage to a French counter attack in the 90th minute when the French were going up the field and were going to be 4 against 3. The referee whistled a foul on coman, even though coman had got up and played the ball. The penalty on di maría is also very very questionable

I remember watching Zidane in his prime, it was as if he had glue on the tips of his feet, he was so consistent, I dont ever remember him losing the ball, but then he lost his temper when the player he was up against gave him a bit of sledging, and he literally, played the player and knocked him out resulting in the referee seeing red.
