In an interview, Billy Gibbons said, ""Yes, it's based on a rap song from the 1990's entitled '25 Lighters' by Lil' Keke and Fat Pat. It was recorded at a Digital Services Recording in Houston and we worked there as well, so we got to know those guys and that song just stayed with us for all that time. It really stayed in our head for all that time while we figured out how to deconstruct it and transform it into a guitar-based, blues-infused rocker as you hear it on La Futura. That guitar breakdown is something of a tribute to the great Lightnin' Hopkins, another of our 'heroes of the Houston ghetto.'"

Saw ZZ Top live in concert in Jacksonville, FL, USA on their _Antenna_ tour in the '90s. What a show! AND they brought some of the babes that you see in their videos. Almost burned down the colosseum...

I've tried singing that high bit that Dusty does, and man! It ain't easy hitting that note, especially with a gravelly voice like his (as well as playing an instrument at the same time)! I especially like the "Aaahhh!" at the end, as though saying, "Phew! MAN, that note was awkwardly high!" 🤔 😁 ✌🏼😜 👍🏼 (Of _COURSE_ he nailed it!) 😊 RIP Dusty... 🤘🏼😘👌🏼

Z.Z. Top capitalized on the MTV craze of the late 80's and they sure can pull it off again! Hot Babe's - Hot Car's! Works every-time! And being a Native Texan like these guys, it was nice seeing the Longhorn emblem on the guitar! Sweeet!
