If there's one thing, I do genuinely enjoy about these character demo videos it's that they not only give you a good idea of the character but also the entire faction they're apart of as a whole. Not every character can realistically get one so it helps that these demos are able to give you an idea of what everyone in the group is like despite them not being the stars.

Beautiful color contrast, good usage of the shapes too. I'm always jelous of designers who know how to use different lines like the ones on the package. They are applied just below the rounded ball on the design, to allow it to stand out more and to make the lower part look like it's got this "sunset" vibe to it. The brown box also does great work using contrast. Yep, Hoyo designers know their stuff. They could have made some plain red box, but they went hard on this 😂 I'm no designer, I wanted to become one, I studied design theory and I still remember some things here and there.

I really love the character dynamic between them all, harumasa might come out as the lazy one yet he finishes up the work on time, Miyabi might seem cold from the outside but in reality she is quite caring, as for Soukkaku... Well she is still Soukkaku. And yanagi just walking till she ends up with a blister, that is quite the dedication. Overall, it was quite an wholesome demo. Also, imma be honest, i wasn't expecting Miyabi to be that short lmao.

It's a bit of a stretch but Section 6 is like cat lady with 3 types of cats. Harumasa is the lazy sleepy cat, Soukaku is hungry cat that is always eating, and Miyabi is the quiet but fast cat. Yanagi is the cat mom. Maybe she thinks Miyabi is a cat with all the places she was checking; up high and in a box lol.

Fun fact: The "red bean buns" they are eating is called daifuku (大福 ), which is a japanese delicacy made from sweetened red bean.

The JP dub translates the buns into anpan あんぱん, which I do think are closer to what they show in the video.

I looked it up and there really is a delicacy similar to daifuku that is called "anpan", but I'll be honest, I can't really tell the difference between the two by thier looks. If you say it was anpan, I belive you since I didn't watch the JP dub and am kinda lazy to do so, but I think the buns shown in the trailer could be called both by how they look.

@ lol no worries, I just brought it up because I routinely watch both the English and JP versions, sometimes the CN and KO versions too just to compare. Daifuku is a mochi filled with red bean and anpan is a roll (bread) filled with red bean, but otherwise they are kind of similar.

I like how with each of the chapters we get to play around with these characters to get a feel for how they play and also get to know their personality. Before 1.2 I was a bit hesitant on using some of the Calydon members since I wasn’t too familiar with them in the story.
