I think this mask represents the deep sadness that Jay feels about Joey's death It must be said that the amazing work that Jay is doing whitin the band is the best tribute to the legendary drummer N°1.

I mean, maybe... but he didn't personally know Joey like that and I highly doubt he wants to live in Joey's shadow. I'm more willing to bet there's just a dark piece of himself he was trying to convey. That's kind of what slipknot is all about. Cut me open and look inside.

I was at Knotfest LA and got to see him in the mask for the first time! Also got to hear their first performance of Chapeltown Rag. It was fuckin' epic! The mask is definitely cool and looks like a clean slate for some cool paint-jobs.
