I'm theorizing Hugo will be in the last patch of version 1. The original lore video specifically ordered the void hunters, with Miyabi's mother being first, and lady sun bringer being second. Lady sun bringer should be the second void hunter to appear or have a successor appear, and in addition sun bringer had heterochromia with left blue and right gold eyes. Hugo appeared with left red and right gold eyes. Also the last patch of a version is always a big bang in hoyo games, i feel like its reasonable to expect a void hunter to appear, even if its not Hugo himself.

1.7 is currently the last patch before 2.0, confirmed by the hoyo devs themselves in one of the most recent livestreams. So it is more likely that Hugo and vivian will be on 1.7

@caruhikari That would make sense too, however they choose to end it whether it be 1.6, 1.7, or 1.8 I'm guessing it's going to come with a void hunter attached, so if 1.7 then either Hugo or Vivian could be a void hunter.

qingyi and trigger are different types of stunners. qingyi is an on field stunner who will be better for chars like zhu yuan and harumasa who want to come out while stunned and leave when now stunned. trigger is an off field stunner who will work with dps that are okay will attacking in non stun like ellen and s11.

My prediction for the next patches, based mostly on gut feeling: 1.6: First two Obol Squad (SAnby, Trigger, with Pulchra as A Rank) - Main Story 1.7: First two Mockingbird (Hugo, Vivian) - Special Story 2.0: Last two Obol Squad (Orpheus+Ghostfire, Seed) - Main Story 2.1: Angels of Delusion (Johiel, Sariel, with Remiel as A Rank) - Special Story And if I had to reach: 2.2: The Inquisition (Lucia, ???) - Main Story

I think there is a 50/50 shot that Ghostfire is Captain Magus now. Personally, I would like them to be two different characters, but it seems very possible that Ghostfire became Brujas (a Spanish word for a type of witch) who then became Magus. Seems like having a male voice for the gun would make a lot more sense for clarity. But I would rather see Captain Magus be a separate character from Captain Ghostfire. Would be awesome if he was a 50-60 year old big buff dude with a beard and dark skin. Just the whole package of everything previous Hoyo games were generally afraid of... But probably a 50/50 shot based on all the data I've gone through.

We do have a quote from Ghostfire in the "Agent Record" for Trigger: "Knowing there's no shore at the end of this sea of suffering is precisely why rowing across it becomes the proof of our existence." - A synthesized voice of someone once marked as deceased From the way everyone has been talking about Captain Magus in-game, I kind of got the feeling he's a bit of a bigger shot than just the captain of the squad. If Ghostfire is the captain of Obol, then I think Magus is the captain of all Obsidian squads - something like that? Totally agree with you on his looks, that would be awesome.

@ I think it is very good speculation that the synthesized voice is Ghostfire but certainly not confirmed? As far as Magus goes, there is certainly enough military jargon to go around for more Captains. But Magus seems too close to Soldier 11 personally to be the head guy of Obsidian. Would see it more likely that Ghostfire's name is changed to Major Ghostfire if they were going to move one of their ranks, as Magus already exists in the game dialogue. Probably going to be a while before we get more Obol in the game though. But conversations with Trigger might reveal more. Wouldn't be surprised if the images of Obol remain under lock, but would also not be surprised if we do see them. Once again I am at a 50/50 and could see it go either way.

I had seen somewhere in a leak that Hugo was supposed to come at patch 1.7 so I wasn't surprised when he wasn't there for 1.6, but I was surprised that S rank Anby, Trigger and Pulchra were there, means there's hope for Billy to have his old uniform from back when he served the Sons of Calydon as their champion. I'm really loving Hugo and Vivian, so I'm skipping everyone until I get those 2, I got Astra, so I'm skipping, Ellen, Evelyn, Qingyi, Anby, Trigger and Pulchra, I have Miyabi, Harumasa, Lycaon, Yanagi and Soldier 11, I guess I can survive fine until Hugo and Vivian arrives. ^^

To be TBH, Lucy, and probably most supports, can combo 4 or so QA's during a stun, though Lucy definitely the fastest. Requires her not triggering the stun and going Chain>QA>Chain>QA>swap back>EX>QA and so on until out of energy and ultimate. Pretty fun. Basically what I try to do most stuns. QA's resetting duration also makes it pretty much always up with Lighter QA'ing after Koleda all the time. Anyway, I still haven't gotten around to Lycaon's story, so I'm still not yet up to date on Hugo, but I'm not entirely enthused for him or Vivian. Not too excited for a new Anby either. Unfortunately Trigger looks the coolest of the upcoming S-ranks, but I like Pulchra significantly more than the rest of them. Still hoping Caesar (less so) or Burnice (significantly begging please) are reran along with Anby if Pulchra is stuck on her banner... I mean, it would be really funny if they put her with Trigger, but they do seem to prefer to usually put relevant A's on banners. All in all, after going for M6 Pulchra, I think I'll have some safe skips for a bit (barring the endless need to gacha), which is good since I do want Lighter's Wengine for more consistent buffing and the bonus Crit DMG.

I'm less "Who should I pull for" and more "Should I pull." I've been hoping to see Pulchra become playable since she was first introduced, and now that she's finally coming, I want to M6 her and pull at least one copy of her Wengine ASAP. However, I also really want Evelyn since I think she looks amazing, is fun to play, and so I can finish my mono-fire team. Pulchra's may be the rate up A-rank, but after trying to max Seth and pulling Anby twelve times in a row plus getting Jane to M1 before finally pulling my final Seth, I'm worried the same thing will happen with her with whoever the other A-rank on the banner is.

I'm staying strong for Jane and Caesar since I wasn't playing yet when they debuted. 🙌 After that, I'll be patiently waiting for a new Ether Attacker to debut or maybe upgrade my Burnice to M1 if my resources are looking healthy enough. My account is almost stabilized with full coverage and well-built teams as I just crossed the 101-days played mark. Just don't have a dedicated Ether squad yet (not pulling Zhu Yuan because the possibility of Jane and Caesar reruns are too close).

Even if not, one can take some confort in the fact that as an A rank she will likely see plenty of reruns in S rank banners (since the A rank pool is smaller and 2 of them get featured for each S rank) Overall I wouldnt necessarily pull for her directly trying to M6, id likely wait for her to appear alongside an interesting S rank

Hugo and Vivian (Umbrella girl) have to be in 1.7, they teased them so much already, plus they have been leaked for 1.7 for a while now, i've never heard anything about them being in 1.6, sothe leak remains true. Which is a good thing for me since i plan on skipping, these last patches have been draining polychrome wise, having a patch to rest up would be insane. As for the animations of the 1.6 agents, they've been leaked already, so there isn't anything else to by by, if by looking at the video and yo ualready like the agents i'd pull for them, i myself am aiming for trigger since i don't care about anby, plus saving during 1.7 would be huge for me considering after 1.7 we get 2.0 as they've mentioned before, possibly a huge update so idk. Also calling it still, Burnice has to be the rerruned agent along with zhu yuan next patch. I'm a bit on the fence about it since i need her but if she's not there i could ultiamtely save tons of polys for Trigger so it's a win win regardless. Considering 1.4 started the whole "season 1" of ZZZ we might get a void hunter in 2.4, so my final guess would be hugo and vivian in 1.7, the other 2 obol squad members that are left in 2.0, 2.1 for the idols and then idk since it's a lot to guess for. But if things are like that and going by obol squad members descriptions one of those have to be a Ben type character so im calling defense, in any case, hoefully it goes like that since it'd mean i could save for almost 2 patches

Question for anyone. Did i miss something or does the friendship between Wise and Astra seem really forced and out of nowhere? She acts like we are the best of friends when i feel like i've hardly ever seen her before. I know she was in the snap bangboo a few events back and then dragged us around the city for her birthday but i hardly even remember that event and still feel like there's no evidence of Wise knowing or caring about her at all

There were story missions that the player did for Astra early on. She had a fake username for posting requests and had spoken over text with the player multiple times. The first meeting with Astra was meant to be the first IRL meeting between the player and this user we had been in contact with. I forgot the specifics, but there was a setup.

I 100% agree. Astra to me feels like she's being pushed way too much and she's only just been added. Like Belle and wise immediately tell her who they are when they see her in the hollow. I know they're starstruck but belle and Wise have always been very hush-hush about being proxies to anyone they aren't directly working with or isn't already aware like some of the sixth street residents. What makes that part is worse is when you think about how Astra is a celebrity that has the paparazzi constantly following her meaning that hanging out with her basically a massive risk as they're more than likely to be found out because of it. It also doesn't help that she is for some reason a part of Ellen's tv schedule despite already having her own. Feels like they want us to like her so badly but by doing all this it makes me dislike her because of hard she's being pushed already. Am I alone on that part?

I wish they'd stop making all these events for Twitter. I deactivated my account after it removed the choice of opting out of training its AI (as did many for that and other reasons) and it means we miss out on events as a result. I'm not sending traffic to somebody who N saluted *twice* at a rally
