8 years ago I sang this at my Grandmother's memorial service (she was 100% Irish). It was my proudest moment because I let it flow naturally and was able to get through it without crying...

John 14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

I'm a writer and poet, or try to be. God! what would I give to be able to pen such lyrics. It does something indescribable to me so I wont even try to explain it.

This is truly marvellous. Correct me if I am wrong but the German group Comedian Harmonists was the original performers in the early 1930's of the music piece as a instrumental emulating performace by a choir, but with the only instrumental support by a piano.
