The game doesn't really explain it well unless you read lore books, but the Daedric Princes (like Noctural and Molag Bal) are basically gods that chose to keep their power instead of help to create Nirn (Earth) and people. They are generally considered evil, but not all are evil. Some are just batshit, some are chill. There's about 18 of them iirc. They each have their own plane of "Oblivion" that's their realm.

It's not that deep they just suck.

All of the Daedric quests are GOATed. They're generally the most fun quests in any TES game. On a side note, I've played Skyrim since launch and never saw that dragon finisher where they grab you in their mouths. 😂 Then again, I'm usually a mage and keep my distance.

Even if you don't play with mods, you still need the Skyrim Unofficial Patch mod to fix the majority of these bugs. I honestly forgot about most of them.😂

I still don't really get the UI complaints. My 17 year old self had no problem figuring it out and I can still use it pretty easy. I think gamers in general are just really spoiled and will find anything to complain about. RDR2 is my favorite game and I think the UI in that is 50 times worse than Skyrim.
