Check the cables and maybe better surge protector. Unplug unnecessary amps.

@@deathflies8689 I had it plugged into a GPS surge protector. I have the best speaker cables in the business. Cmon man. I had a couple of techs look at this. The failure probably started with a resistor on the PCB that led to catastrophic failure of other components.

That's such a bummer! I've thought the KH103 was such an awesome amp for a long time. That's disheartening to hear :/

Yeah...I am trying to find someone qualified enough to look at it. There seem to be multiple pieces on the PCB board that are fried, and it's sending voltage out the instrument cable. So, it's definitely a DANGEROUS amp at the moment. Whatever the failure was fried a couple of preamp tubes, the standby switch the master volume regulators and pots...and sent voltage back to the line input.

@@Eman1072Honestly. I think you would be much happier with a Synergy System. The Synergy modules are very affordable, and the SYN1 is super easy to use.

This popped up in my recommended. I dont listen to this type of rock(screamo?) But the instruments and the beggining were tight.😊 maybe less screaming more guitar and drums.

Dude, how did you manage to get one of these? You must have some sort of connections with Gibson, because I see 2 other brown 80s explorers on your wall, which are new models (the toggle switch is in a different location than the original 84s). Did you buy 3 of these 80s explorers and paint 2 brown?

The verse reminds of Metallica and Slayer. The solo guitar reminds me of how Kim Thayil approaches a solo: wild! 😄 The chorus doesn't lift that much for me, but I'm not saying it's bad. It's a good song!
