@0:05 There is no cheap Bentley, mate. They are cheap because they need repairs and parts are crazy expensive as they are for an ultra luxury car.

Bought 2003 3.0 sport x350 with great history. Picked up in London then Belfast, Dublin, Cherbourg, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and finally Kyiv Ukraine at about 4k km. it never missed a beat. Now, in Kyiv, 4 new Michelin tyres, engine, g/box, rear axel service & oil/filters, cabin filter and engine oil leak resolved with wheel alignment and air suspension checked over. Then headliner removed, stripped, recovered, replaced. All this work cost less than what I was quoted in UK to recover the headliner 😂 result plus the x350 sport silver with cranberry leather is a real head turner in Kyiv as they are very rare

No need to remove the wipers or scuttle panel, just remove the T30 screw and 10mm bolt at each end and lift the scuttle to access the 3 x 13mm bolts either side.

I always used to just push the piston back, watching out for overflow from reservoir of course, until a work colleague had done the job on his wife's car, and ended up with no brakes! He had had the bad luck of 'flipping' the seal in the master cylinder, apparently you also run the risk of wrecking the ABS modulator too. No such thing as a easy job! Great video.

I've got this car, and it has an oil leak. At 7:08 in this video, there is a grey cable in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. That has detached from the engine, and I'm not quite sure what it's for and how to reattach it. Can you offer me any advice please

I had a new 205 Junior in 1986 (D reg) - the 954cc petrol version. It was hideously basic, 4-speed and it was dog slow (only about 45bhp I think) but it was economical and 100% reliable in the 3yrs and 55k miles I had it for and a bit more interesting than its Fiesta, Nova or Metro rivals. I did get a rear-wiper for it which came with a new stalk

I just bought a 2005 Vanden Plas (Canada), with a perfect body and interior (except for the saggy headliner), with only 47,234 miles on the clock. I paid £7000.00 which I think was fair price, but it does need an air-con evaporator and heater core. The right front suspension (followed by the left front) sags when temps dip below 0˚C. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the car, but I do wonder if I made a smart decision buying it. 🤔

Lucky for me it was summer 3 days to dry. Love these cars had 5 but my god so many problems from brake pipe corrosion, chassis corrosion, seels corroded, water leaks, the list is endless.

@@CarMechanicsTV tutorial was spot on mate. I dare say getting the hub off was harder than getting it back on in my case. I put a piece of steel in the gap you used the spreader in (too block the bolt) and sent the pinch bolt in from the threaded side. Managed to open the mount on the hub a nice amout and the absorber slid straight in. Thanks for the help, earned yourself a sub
