Thanks for sharing. One suggestion on the border, is to run another one on top of the first one that is 2mm wide, along the outside edge of the first one. It gives you some security if you nick a stitch while cutting it out. Advice from “The take up” featuring Erich Campbell.

Good tip and makes sense. But if you nick it while cut out it’s still gonna frey and look like crap. The frey check prevents that making the extra satin stitch redundant. I can see that being used to create a more ouffy effect though. Either way thats a good tip. Thanks for your input.

Hello! I've been following your channel for a while now, and I find it really interesting, especially since I'm considering getting into embroidery myself. I noticed that you started with the Brother SE600. Would you recommend it as a good machine for beginners? Also, what software do you use to create your designs, and what type of files does the machine accept?

@@Krushov yes, i use chroma luxe. The se6 takes .pes files.
