Was at his first show internationally in Montreal. Small club . Sick. Early 80s. New him in Austin. We had a big laugh of how random life is. Charlie and his brother are dynamite

The New Wave era was coming to an end in the late 80s. The sound was changing towards alternative.

I listening Charlie Sexton since he was 16 years old when his first Album with HOLD ME.... a great success..... I never stop listening his songs, and watch his videos...

I been listening Charlie Sexton songs from a very long time, he was 16 when HOLD ME was a huge success, he write his songs and compose the music, and he's in some movies too, plus he has a long career. He was Blessed by God, a man of incredible beauty, but he was and is always humble. I want to go to one of his concerts in Texas.

One of my mother and I’s favourite songs. We’d sing the lyrics at each other loudly. You were 54 years too young mumma. I’m alone at 23 singing the lyrics now. Wherever she is, I hope she’s singing them back at me still

I’ve shown this song to my friends, no one remembers it, but me?? I know it’s been in the background in some 80’s movies.
