Dude was tearing it up at 15 or 16. Unbelievable magnetic charisma coolness stage presence-he had it all. Charlie was 1 in a million and should have blown up WAY bigger.

I bought this album on the strength of Beats lonely, and I was totally impressed. Charlie is a great singer, wrote songs filled with great hooks, and is a killer guitarist. Deserved much more success than he got. Maybe one day.

I did too. He was a huge star to me at this stage of his career. Now I've seen him playing with Dylan several times. He's a very fine musician. But also has star quality.

I was on vacation in Austin Texas in 2005ish and stumbled upon a club and Charlie Sexton was performing. Amazing experience, 5 feet from the stage. Unbelievable talent!

Met Charlie and Bob Dylan in Perth, Australia in 2001. He was such as great bloke; Bob on the other hand was a grumpy little man but I am still grateful for the experience. Charlie's songs are a time machine trip back to my teens; what an era to be alive!

I couldn’t afford to move all my vinyl from NJ to CA back in the 80’s, & stored them at a friend’s house. Turns out his mom tossed ALL my now highly collectible vinyl, including many extremely rare EP’s. I had this album on vinyl, along with a lot of local Philly bands.

Saw them perform this at the Star theater in Youngstown as the second set following Donnie Iris, in 1985. They never topped the energy of that show, and yet Donnie Iris is in his seventies now and still kicking butt.

An awesome classic from the 80's. The whole album was fantastic...must have played that tape to death, till I got the CD. :D Slick production by Keith Forsey over all. Charlie is one of the quiet yet talented musicians from that time, and still performs to this day. This song is just great!!!

Yeah, we always referred to it as the "Ville." Coming from Schwab always required a taxi. Buses were rare, over crowded and not frequent. To this day, I still say Camp Schwab was prison with a furlough. I was at Schwab-atraz 87-88. Fuetema 93-94, and again 95-96. Yeah, I remember it like it was yesterday too.
