Why I love Mario Kart (especially MK Wii) is because of how enjoyable it is to drive! Its not like other racing games where the focus is on graphics and realism but on how FUN it is to play.

Yoshi Circuit is actually from Mario Kart Double Dash which came before Mario Kart Wii. It was brought back among a handful of other retro tracks that have been a staple of the series since the DS version in Mario Kart 8 (Deluxe)

I think when he says modern, he means a good modernized circuit track, or maybe one of the more realistic looking circuits.

Koopa Shells from mario kart double dash were the best thing to be in the series, along side baby park mario kart double dash is the best mario kart out there
