Your game looks awesome. However I would suggest using a lerp function for your kart controller when it rotates along the ground normal, so it looks smoother. I would also suggest doing something similar for the camera controller, so when you drift, you have a tiny delay, and you can see the side of the kart like the real game.

For the rainbow texture I think you could make a great PBR graph material in the LWRP! Would be a fairly simple graph and it would look great I'm sure

I have a question, for the item scroller when you randomly get an item, how did you make the item not be shown outside of the black circle when it scrolls down in the animation? I am really curious edit: nvm, i used masking to achieve the same thing..

Ich bin echt gespannt darauf. Ich hab selber viele Ideen und Kozeptarts gemacht, nur leider kann ich nicht programmieren. Ich dachte unter anderem an ein ausgiebiges Customisation Menü sowohl für die Charaktere als auch für die Fahrzeuge. Man kann es einbisschen wie ein Mix aus Animal Crossing und dem Mii Maker sehen. Quasi Gesichtsdetails mit custom Kleidung. Sozusagen das unltimative Crossover Game, bei dem man jeden x-beliebigen Charakter spielen kann. Egal ob Eren Jäger, John Travolta oder Marie Curie. Das alles in einem sehr anpassbaren Artstyle. Hab mir ganze Menüs und n haufen Items und Kosmetikitems ausgedacht. Alles schön am PC gemalt und so. Nur komme nicht hinters programmieren.

Wow, das hört sich ja klasse an. Da ich eine öffentliche Version hochladen möchte, ist es leider nicht möglich diese Charaktere einzubauen. Vehicle customization ist geplant (mit mehr Spieleinfluss als bei anderen Genrevertretern). Auf jeden Fall sehr interessant, was du schreibst, hättest du Interesse deine Ideen/ Konzepte zu teilen ?

@@BelievingGamedev Ich glaube du verstehst nicht ganz. Der Charaktereditor ist so aufgebaut, dass man so ziemlich jeden Charakter nachbilden kann. Ergo, kann sich jeder die erstellen die er mag und damit spielen :D Kannst mich ja mal auf Discord adden. Ich zeig dir da son bisschen was von den Konzepten k44du2 #8049

The 'AI' Kart have a kart controller just like the player. Once the kart gets hit, you/ the ai kart get locked down in a hit stun. Therefore you/ it can't accelorate anymore and comes to a stop.

Thank you, I forgot to add it in the description (it now is). This is from the asset store, created by Sebastian Lague (great you tuber btw). With some more time I could have created my own and in the future I might will (to make it more suitable for my uses). For now this one does the job totaly fine. :)
