It is good to go back and compare that you have done very well in forming a future and a family in a new country, which is not easy, but it gives you another type of life and tranquility, in my country we are in an election year and the economy so we'll see how it goes. So I just ordered a Kranzle 1322 and a jetter hose and camera system. I was quoted about $2500 to clean out JUST the main drain.. and $4000 to go from roof on down through the house drain.. one time cost.. I figured I could buy the kranzle (which I been wanting for years now), the hose, the camera system.. for less than the one time cost of just the main drain system. The only down side is the big boy companies tend to use the 6 to 10gpm 4000+psi machines.. where as the kranzle is only about 2gpm and 1100psi.. is it enough to do the job? My thinking is.. from the amount I paid to have them run a camera ($350.. so about the cost of buying the camera itself).. I saw in the drain it was mostly grease build up.. sludge, etc. No roots. I hope/think the kranzle has enough pressure/water flow to be used to clean that stuff out. I would suspect root clean out would need more PSI and water.. but for a relatively clear but somewhat gunked up drain system, the kranzle should be enough.. right?
@eurodrainrat9659 Жыл бұрын
Hey. I hope that Kranzle worked out for you. Im guessing the 1322 flows 13 litres a minute? Mine flows 10 litres a minute. Works really well. Not the best for 110mm but could work. I normally use mine for anything from 40mm - 76mm. Anything bigger than that and i use the big diesel jet. Let me know how yours worked out
@b3owu1f Жыл бұрын
@@eurodrainrat9659 hey there. So it worked very well from what I could tell. I fed it down with separate camera and it was easily moving so I assume it had enough pressure to do the job.

M.V.H Frode Valderhaug

With all the homes draining to this main manhole, I expected it to take even longer to drain down. If all the residents had filled a bath and let it go at once, that would purge the system.

Could you mark the insides of each manhole where it goes? Spray paint would enable you to know which is which.
@eurodrainrat96592 жыл бұрын
I can. If he customer wants us to map out their drainage system, we will CCTV survey the pipe work, spray paint the direction of the pipes on the floor, we then get the map drawn on autocad and we hand that over to the customer. However it would be a survice they need to pay for. It would take me about 3 days to map and CCTV that particular site so the costs would add up quickly. If you look on the right hand side of my jetter you will notice the cans of road marking paint that I use. Cheers
@marykrauthamel75592 жыл бұрын
@@eurodrainrat9659 My idea was a little simpler. When you see where the drainage goes, just mark it on the inside of the manhole. That way, if you and your colleagues have to come back, you'll know you were there before and won't have to go through the search process again.

What are the big blue tanks?
@eurodrainrat96592 жыл бұрын
I think you are talking about the big tanks in the gardens? They store oil for the oil fired boilers that are used for making the hot water in the house. It also heats the radiators in the house to warm it up during the winter months. Old shool method of doing things. Most modern systems here now use gas fired boilers and air source heat pumps

Most commercial sites could benifit from preventitive maintenance. I do try convince them to rather just clean it once or twice a year rather than let it block up and cause flood damage

That large jetter pump is great for the industrial and multi dwelling jobs you have been getting. Is it too powerful for homes with older drains though? I can imagine it boring its own way thru the old terracotta pipes and causing chaos!!!! You have mentioned the mid size van units other drain channels use. Brit channels seem to be either very small or huge jetting units. Either way most dont use the jetter to its potential, like you do.
@eurodrainrat96592 жыл бұрын
I can tell you have watched lots of drainage videos. We are able to control the power of the machine, so if we see an old sewer system I wont use full power. We can alter the pressure with the RPM of the engine or we can control it on a pressure release valve which we can set. I will make a video on this sometime and give a full walk around of the machine. My machine is probably over kill for a house, however its a perfect size for houses and commercial drainage as I do both.

Sometimes I wonder what the effect would be if all the toilets wereflushed at once, once the blockage was clear. A huge purge I tbink.
@eurodrainrat96592 жыл бұрын
It probably wouldnt do much in this case, but in some cases it would make a difference, every litre of water is 1KG. The more water in the manholes, the more weight there will be pushing on the blockage. I have managed to clear blockages before just by fulling up the manhole with water as the water weight just pushes the blockage
