Keep up trying to expand and grow your business. The garden looks lovely, as long as the septic tank does not overflow.

Its absaloutly foul! Really disgusting dirty work. I done 1 shift and ran for the hills. The work vs the pay doesnt check out. You should be earning at least double whats on the table for that kind of work. People are being exploited but some people dont seem to mind which i find baffling

Hello, I tell you that I love watching your old videos, also in this video I can see you as you are. I don't know why you haven't uploaded more, I know from what you said that you had planned to buy your own equipment, an absorption tanker truck, etc., later you had your baby so I don't know where your life will continue but I wish you the best of all from my heart Success and don't miss South Africa, even though it's your home country it's as complicated as Argentina where I live, the best for you and your family...

Hi Ricardo. Thank you for the kind words. I am still around. I will be making a come back and will make a video soon. I have been busy completing my truck drivers licence and a bunch of other things for the new equipment i have arriving soon. Should arrive next month which i am excited to show. Baby is running around already. I went back to South Africa last month for a week. Things are bad there and i was happy to be back in England. I will see you soon!

@@eurodrainrat9659 I really like your way of working, and explaining and telling about your experiences, that is very cordial and contributes a lot. I will look forward to your video, I see the ones you have uploaded from time to time because they are very good. I am very happy that the baby is already walking and giving you new joys every day. It is good to go back and compare that you have done very well in forming a future and a family in a new country, which is not easy, but it gives you another type of life and tranquility, in my country we are in an election year and the economy so we'll see how it goes. I tell you that the videos in which you go to the camera and show yourself are more pleasant since you form a link with whom you talk and work, you already feel part of the family, a big hug and the greatest of successes from Argentina

Very good work bro ! I live in Seattle, Washington and inside the basement have one tank next to bathroom and washing machine, and it’s has a electrical pump on top. Is this Septic ? And do I need vacuum truck to do the job ? My downstairs toilet and shower back up badly ? And I already ran the Snake machine from the Home Depot 100 feet ,from the toilet through to city sewer line but still not working…Please anyone give me advice… Thank you very much

But is the outlet of the septic tank clear?
@eurodrainrat9659
@eurodrainrat9659 2 жыл бұрын
Good question, its not. I will be on site to jet the outlet on Saturday. It makes its way to another tank on the outside of the boundary wall. All a bit weird but will make a video of that as it is difficult to explain. Love the questions. Shows your brain is on form

Honestly, you get used to it. The only thing i cant get used to is a blocked urinal. I dont even smell the sewerage anymore. I remember when i 1st started 12 years ago i was like WTF. But soon after you get used to it. Another thing, i find it easier to clear a blockage for a customer rather than in my own house.

Soak away is screwed. Didn’t see many wet wipes. Maybe get it jetted and see what’s holding it up. That trucks way over engineered for the job. Looks like it’s used to mains work not private drainage. What was the cost to empty it?
@eurodrainrat9659
@eurodrainrat9659 2 жыл бұрын
I will be on site to jet the outlet on the tank tomorrow. It seems there is another tank on the outside of the boundary wall so I will see whats going on. The customer that owns the rental property also owns a few industrial estates so they use the same tanker company for their residential properties too, but yes this tanker is way too advanced for a simple vacuum job. with regards to cost, I think it was around the £200 mark. Not a bad charge at all considering the come with the best equipment. I have had quotes from tanker companies in the past of £500 - £650 in the past but they obviously just taking chances although £200 seems cheap.
@robertcolebrooke7557
@robertcolebrooke7557 2 жыл бұрын
I do it as a living in Somerset we charge £186 on average so £200 not bad. Yeah it didn’t have much sludge in the take so I would say it was done not that long ago and for it to be backing up already looks like something is blocking to soakaway or it’s paying the price for previous neglect
@eurodrainrat9659
@eurodrainrat9659 2 жыл бұрын
Good to know you are in the business. something i would definitly like to get involved in. The tank was vacuumed a month ago. Then it fulled up again so definitly something happening on the outlet side whcih is why i met the tanker on site to see what was going on. The second tank on the outside of the property is a weird setup but the 2 tanks are 100% connected by a 110mm pipe which i will jet tomorrow. £186 is reasonable. What are the dumping charges like?

@@eurodrainrat9659 it’s about £12.50 per tonne (1000litres) I think. Yeah I’ve been doing it since I was 21 I’m nearly 35 now. People turn their nose up but it’s a good job. Not sure this type of tank is compliant with the new regs…
@eurodrainrat9659
@eurodrainrat9659 2 жыл бұрын
Im not too familiar with regards to the regs on septic tanks in the UK. I should definitly do some research on it. The thing i noticed about that tank compared to most tanks i see was that the tank had no vent or compartments. Anything more you can tell us?
@robertcolebrooke7557
@robertcolebrooke7557 2 жыл бұрын
That doesn’t matter as far as I’m aware. It’s more to do with where the outflow goes. How close is the nearest stream or water course the tank and drainage field is? Think it’s got to be like 50meters away or something. I only empty them so not 100% on the regs
@timhull8664
@timhull8664 2 жыл бұрын
@@robertcolebrooke7557 correct about the outflow.. so if you are on a tank.. your prob not near a sewer, so you can't discharge non compliant effluent into a water course.. and a your leach field would quickly block up if you didn't have secondary treatment. You also need a permit now. Read the reg on gov.uk you are supposed to be compliant by 1st Jan 2022

seems like small tank he said 1000 gallons i would guess a lot less
@eurodrainrat9659
@eurodrainrat9659 2 жыл бұрын
They had a 4000 gallon tanker and it filled 1/4th so it seems 1000 gallons was accurate. I dont thing the camera shows the scale of the tank. It was really deep. I would have guessed it was more than a 1000 gallons.
@robertcolebrooke7557
@robertcolebrooke7557 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it only looks about 4ft across and 6/8ft deep? I would say half that. Lorry could have already had a small tank on before they got there. And it emptied it quickly but it’s a big tanker and surprising how much extra volume is in the drains when it’s backing up
@robertcolebrooke7557
@robertcolebrooke7557 2 жыл бұрын
@@eurodrainrat9659 also it’s not a 4000 gallon tanker. That would be an 8 wheeler it’s 3000 so probably took 750gallons if it’s 1/4 full. But most people charge for up to 1000 then extra after so doesn’t matter too much
