Blocked Drain - Drain Jetting blockage in Cambridge DRAIN RAT 1

In this video I show a seriously blocked drain in Cambridge. We found that the blockage was caused by roots in the pipe work. this was jetted out to clear the line

I have actually ordered a remote hose reel like drain addict has as our machines in the UK are slightly different so I ordered a reel from Aus. My machine is really powerful and is powered by a 4 cylinder diesel engine so we will see if the smaller hose reel can hold up. I have a Honda GX690 like drain addict has aswel, however its just a different market in the UK. I do love the AUS style of jetters too.

@@eurodrainrat9659 Those new root cutter heads the "Drain Addict" has seem to work well putting the old double barrel into retirement.. hehe

@@jameslonergan5840 i used to have some insane ones with my old machine. My new machine is super powerful, but as soon as i find a decent supplier once covid is over, i will purchase a bunch of decent heads. The addict does have some nice attachments. My old machine is the same as his. But my new one is much more powerfull.

Ok I don't know the whole situation but landlord told you that you CANT BE THERE beyond 2 hours?!? Ummmm....ok sir I'll leave you with clogged lines. Smh! One more question? Can i use a 3/8 quick connect coupler that are used with regular pressure washers or do i need specific couplers for jetting ?

@@robertorodriguez6772 I think you just need to check the rating that the couplers can handle. I myself don't use quick connect couplers for jetting just because I'm scared to lose my nozzles etc. But I know it is possible to be done. I think my machine is too powerful to take the chance, but i would do it on my smaller machine. Let me know how you get on

I'd also suggest a hose reel with valve so you can regulate your jetter at the manhole

I have ordered one from Australia which will hopefully arrive soon. Cant seem to get the remote hose reels in the UK but i should have one arrive soon. The other option is to install a radio controlled valve on the machine.

Thanks. I have got a head mount now. Still new to this so i will learn as time goes by. Also found that the gopro changes modes while its on the head mount ( i probably press the wrong buttons ) but i will get the hang of it in time.
