I saw the Tubes a few years ago in a Chicago area bar. Their drummer was Prairie Prince. I remember seeing him years ago playing for Rundgren. Great show.

This is the one Zappaesque tune from the early Tubes repertoire that made it to an album. Over the years they released Dawn of The Tubes and Mondo Birthmark and it amazed me how many tunes like this one they had recorded.

I saw the Tubes' amazing performance at Cascais on July 1979. What a show. Even today, I often listen to the What Do You Want From Life album, on the original LP at home, or the CD version on the car. It never loses quality. What is good is timeless

Such a refreshing and daring band. Saw them at Bimbo's, and during the end of WHITE PUNKS ON DOPE some of the young boys in the back were giving them the finger til the end.

Saw them in Cleveland Ohio at the Richfield Collosium.Best show ever. My brother lived with them and Fayerweather in an house in Elyria for a short time. He always claimed.
