Definitely seem to be driver issues OR GPU usage isn't reported correctly. I guess there must be some secret Chinese secret to bump GPU usage higher or nobody ever would buy this card, even in China.

Pretty cool that it even works. More competition on gpu market would be awesome, but will see if their gpus ever take off. Its not easy to make good gpu. Even intel struggles to make good one but their second gen is looking pretty great.

Intel second gen is looking so awesome, they have severe hardware limitations they now have fixed, and they learned a lot about drivers and optimization, so they are gonna hit the low end market hard, specially if Nvidia keeps going with 8GB cards xD. As for this Chinese, I think they are more focused on the datacenter market, but it's cool that they have gaming GPUs too and that they keep working on newer drivers. Maybe we will see more of them, maybe not, but at least in china they could be a budget option for some.

Too bad it's like 350€ where I live. If it was 250 I would prob have bought it ^^ but will see if amd/nvidia will cook something nice for the lower end. Def not gonna buy 8gb card though lol.

@megapet777 I want to buy the b580 asap, but yeah, it's crazy expensive in Europe, so far 320€ and not even available yet on most stores, so I might wait a bit on it as maybe in a month it will go down in price

I started testing with that configuration and just kept it. On the game presets it enables it by default on all AMD and Nvidia cards on the non rt presets, so it's simpler to just leave it like that

j ai une RTX 2080 AIO et une nitro RX5700XT avec la Radeon le Resizable BAR est activable pas sur la 2080 a part une astuce non officiel et des bios Moder qui soit disant active le Resizable BAR qui risque de briqué la carte aucun intérêt avec cette option activer la Radeon est équivalente en jeux et c'est encore plus vrai avec le FSR3.1 et le FG il exit des mods sur des jeux DLSS pour injecté le FSR3.0 et profité du FG sur Radeon , la ou la Nividia dépasse la Radeon la prise en charge du Ray tracing ce que n a pas la Radeon , dans le dernier jeu indiana jones et le cercle ancien sortie le 09 décembre 2024 les cartes qui ne supporte pas le ray tracing nativement sont incompatible avec le jeu exit les GTX, les Radeon avant RX6000 , hormis ce jeu avec un bon CPU ma petite Radeon reste performante en cette fin 2024 , je ne joue pas en resolution native 5120X1440P qui est trop exigent en ressources mais en 3840X1080P la carte tourne très bien dans la plupart des jeux pour le jeu Indiana j ai remis la 2080 pour faire le jeu, pour la Radeon une obligation pour éviter les Crashs et plantages due a la chaleur, il faut obligatoirement undervolté la carte dans Adrenaline et changer les pads thermiques et la pate thermique avec un bon nettoyage et la carte est repartie en bataille pour 2 ou 3 ans et suis DSL mais je vais tuer certaines légende urbaine qui prétende que l une est plus puissante que l autre effectivement a la sortie des cartes la RTX avait une belle longueur d avances, mais avec le temp et les améliorations des pilotes les choses ont évolué ,dans certains jeux la RTX bat la Radeon mais dans d autres la Radeon bat la RTX et avec le FSR 3.0 et FG la Radeon domine en FPS mais la RTX domine en qualité d images en upscaling

4060 had a ton of potential if it had more vram and a higher bandwidth. It's efficiency currently is the only thing that's great about it. Speaking of which it's pretty awesome how you can get 1080ti levels of performance for half the watts. A used 4060 might actually end saving you enough to justify the purchase in the long run

I don't think it's new, but just that model that has a good cooler design. That one from sapphire is silent and has a decently big heatsink for that power.

Double fan, it was a sapphire pulse. Maybe you should check yours, maybe it needs new thermal paste.

@@dutchelf2707 Yeah Its pretty great - I can play the newest call of duty at 1440p with DLSS and I get a stable 120fps - there isn't a single game that ive had trouble with.

That low cpu driver overhead on the radeon cards really shows in this video since on the nvidia rig the cpu is on 70degrees and 90% in most games while radeon is under 50%...

You can't imagine how much, this Ampere cards just want power, more and more power. This card specifically can go up to 300w, and it will still be power limited xD. That is why people ran RTX 3090 at 500w, more than 100w more than the stock and it will still be stable and go up. So yeah, great performance but omg they are hungry xD.

I think the GTX 1080 ti will be better so I would change if you have a PSU strong enough. Also the change in CPU I don't think it's worth it, the R5 5500 should be better in games and in general than the i7 9700k. It's a more modern architecture and more cores in the R5. And also better platform.

Hey, if you are wondering how, that value is not from afterburner, it comes from a separate device that hooks up to the PSU cables and measures the power going through, while the regular power value is the one that the GPU driver reports.

Thank you for this comparison. I was checking another comparison video and couldn't figure out how the A770 was performing so much worse than the 4060, because I have used both, and the A770 consistently performed better than the 4060 on my system in many newer titles. Turns out the other comparison video had ReBAR off.

The power the GPU is taking from the PSU measured externally. The regular value is what the BIOS of the card (driver) reports.

Depends on the game, but for 1080p there is no point and it's really similar in price and performance than the RTX 4060/Ti as long as you don't consider DLSS FG or want maximum ray tracing.

The RTX 2080 struggles with 4K in a bunch of games, even if we don't worry about the VRAM limit or Raytracing capabilities. It's 1440p high, and MAYBE a 4K on low depending on the game. @@Reaper9-4

It is that, optimizing takes time and effort, so it makes sense to optimize for benchmarks. Game performance is hard to optimize as there are a lot of games and engines to optimize to, but with time they have been making improvements and increasing the game performance and stability in many titles.

0:58 look at the real gpu power, the 6700xt is drawing 210w which is close to the 3070. Real tdp of 6700xt is 220w

The 780ti should perform much better than a 970, as it did on release. But the lack of updates for the 700 series GPUs meant the 900 series pulled ahead. It is a shame, as the 780ti could perform much better than it is.

Drivers cant do much to improve current Alchemist cards. Its a limitation on the architecture side. With Battlemage IGPU, it seems like that issue is gone, even if its only featured in a processor that goes to 30 watts.

I don't really agree it's a hardware limitation. While I'm sure it has hardware limitations they could perform better in games, as they perform already better in benchmarks like 3D mark time spy or Unigine superposition. I think it's more about the work of optimizing the architecture that is not optimal to every game. For example the control game also ran very well on arc cards with the A750 going side by side with a 3060 ti, while on other games it was clearly behind. I'm really excited to see how battle mage comes out. As you said the integrated graphics looked amazing, but let's see how that scales on a bigger chip like the ones the desktop ones will use.

The performance differences is so low to justify the price increase on RTX 4060 over RX 7600, holy sheet, but Nvidia managed to be the brand. Hope AMD got their sheet together someday so Nvidia wont dominate and dictate prices like we have right now.
