Aren’t 19D’s and 11B’s more or less the same, only the 19D’s don’t get CIB/EIB’s?

With any luck you'll go to a cav unit. If you get stuck in a grunt unit, life as you know it has just ended, and you should get ready to be shit on for the rest of your time in that unit, but you will still be twice the soldiers as the grunts because IF YOU AIN'T CAV.....

7:20 You mention getting the Vic ready before they get up. Would you advise getting up early and setting it up? I'm looking at 19D just seeing what it is.

I was referring to our humvees, or any vehicle you’re assigned to. Get up early and have it prepped and ready to go before your truck commander gets there.

No, we ended up deploying before I could get truly settled in. I separated shortly after returning from our tour. After deployment though, people were getting schools frequently.

just an innocent bystander , slowing the bike down to much into 1 and 12. Seems a little long in the tight stuff(7,8,9,10). Like the next gear would be too much and the gear you are in is down on the rev's a touch. Going into 3,4,5 , down one gear tip it left into 3 then down 2 into 4,5. Thats free time for sure.

My first unit was 4-7 cav in fucking Korea and it sucked. Immediately went straight to the field after a 21+ plus flight followed by a long ass bus ride to Camp hovey. Which is a shitty base. Thank god its only a year tour and went to 3rd bct 10th mountain at ft polk which was so much better and so much fun in Louisiana, and better than Drum which i also did my last tour. Also 3/89 is hardcore they love to run run run. Its go go go everywhere and they don't play around if anyone gets 89 cav

im going to jennings for the first time in march and heard the track is grippy... What slicks and compound ppl run down there
@675_Dreamer
@675_Dreamer 5 ай бұрын
It’s very grippy and abrasive so tires do get shredded. I just ran a couple endurance races there this past weekend and we put on Pirelli soft/medium compounds which lasted over 100 laps per race. That was my first time running them and they felt good, but I typically run Dunlop medium/medium without any issues whatsoever.

Interesting gear choices around the track. Looked like you were experimenting with a few approaches. The earlier R6's (2006/2007) had a bit of a lull in the mid range that I wasn't crazy about so I would be in 2nd gear from 7 to 11 and then into 3rd coming out of 11. Great Soundtrack!!!!

So there's a few things that we could talk about. First of all, you don't need to blip. Like...at all. When Moto2 was using the CBR600 motor, NO ONE blimped. They used the slipper clutch. Now, that doesn't mean just let the lever go without rider modulation. You will still need to "slip" the slipper. I have a Suter clutch in my ZX6R and I will modulate it as necessary. You need to work on track flow. Right now, you ride with the intent of FEELING fast. And that feeling you think is correct is the acceleration feeling. This isn't what it's like when you start dropping lap times. In fact, the acceleration feeling drops off and you feel more calm. This is hard one to explain on a YT comment but trust me: stop emphasizing the FEELING of acceleration and start connecting the dots on track. What's you lap time at the moment?
@675_Dreamer
@675_Dreamer Жыл бұрын
Thanks, I’m running consistent 1.27s. I’ll make a mental note about the blipping, it’s just force of habit at this point.

Went OSUT -Basic & AIT in Ft Knox Kentucky back in 1990. The 1st Gulf War was ramping up. l was an eager young buck looking for adventure. Being a 19D was loads of fun. Had duty assignments in Africa, Europe, Asia, Latin America. Retired after 20 years. It was a time l cherish. For those joining now. Make the most of it & take care of your physical/mental health while your serving. Blessings to you all.

Hi Ii hope u notice this message I have a concern, is the army that deployed in Africa doesn't have access in their bank account? And what are the procedure to ask a vacation leave? Is it true that once the leave application was approved the family of the army who requested for leave vacation was the one who will shoulder first the airfare ticket but he can refund it before he leave for vacation?
