My friend, you make the statements many times "I'm not sure if that's coming up or not" or "I don't know if you can see this". I have a question. Did you watch your own video before you uploaded it to KZbin? Did it "come up" and could you "see it"? No, you can't. I'm sorry to critcize but that's extremely shoddy camera work. If you watched the video, you could see for yourself that things weren't showing up. Any reason you couldn't move the camera closer or better lighting or re-shoot the entire video or whataever? You didn't. You just posted this junk and hoped for the best. Plus, that's not a Gil Hibben knife, it's a cheap replica. Are you considering a video where you title it "How To Cook A Steak" and then feature yourself frying a piece of bologna, out of focus, in the dark, with the camera placed two rooms away? Probably not, but this video is the same thing.

Won't work with the Yugo 59/66 SKS due the size of the gas block. Elevation adjustment part of the tool doesn't fit over front sight post.

Kalashnikov was a Genius in he's design of the AK. Most people just don't know because they don't have actual military training. For CQB, the Russians put the iron on 1 setting, or "dropping the pants" and it essentially does this same thing for you. You completely ignore the rear leaf and only use the front sight post since the 100 makes the front post easier to see. Although it's limited to 50 yards with a 6" variation of rise and drop. The Army is taught this, too. It Is good that most don't know, though, but practice makes perfect. Go see if it works or not.

Thanks for this info it really helps. Drop the rear leaf to 100 so you’re not peaking over on “n” I never thought of that

Hibbens REAL BLADES. All his blades have are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOR UNDER $200. THATS NOT A MACHETE YOUR USING BOWIE KNIFE FOR THE WRONG REASON AND YOU BROKE THE KNIFE !! YOU USE A KNIFE AS A MACHETE Do you not know the differences!!!!! You used the wrong tool and blamed the creator? Blame your mom for creating you - you can not use a knife correctly Next time make the title All SAMARIA SWORDS ARE GARBAGE CAUSE THEY DONT FIREWOOD !!

Just ordered the Military 2 in S110V. The scratches on your blade look like they are from the Ken Onion Sharpmaker. If you don't clean the angle guide, it gets grit on it and scratches up your blade. PITA to keep it clean. I only use it for convex blades now because of this. Sharpmaker works fine for most of my needs. This steel isn't very tough, so I will hopefully enjoy the edge retention and not beat it. It's probably going to be cutting food and envelopes mostly.

why would you use a rifle for CQB? there's something called handguns my dude. and if u like the ergonomics of the rifle just get a shotgun...the tool of a rifle is to be able to hit a target from a far distance not 10 yards away,

And another guy who just talks nonsense on KZbin. Firstly, the procedure for welding a threaded rod is used by many knife makers. Secondly, the knife shown is designed by Gil Hibben and manufactured in small numbers, but most were mass-produced in China under license from United Cuttlery. That means that it is a replica of a Gil Hibben knife. I've been using the so-called Gil Hiben Highlander Bowie for 32 years, as seen in Natural Born Killers, and I can't complain about its flawless functionality over the long period of time. So before you badmouth someone in a video, get the right information.

I had the same experience, not very sharp, chips easy... a truly terrible knife for people that actually use it. My $35 Gerber paraframe is significantly better than this garbage knife. It's in better shape after 5 years than this benchmade after 2 months of light usage.

I have a Bowie knife over $450.00 and I wouldn't use it for clearing brush or batoning logs for firewood . I would use a Maul or Axe or Hatchet . For close up and personal conflicts I know my knife is ready for action and will get the job done . God forbid me getting in a situation like that ! Clearing brush I would use my Machete . Yes I have cheap crappy knives too . 😊

That knife isn't the real thing. It is meant to be collected and not used. They go for ~$140 new. It is a prop/memorabilia reproduction. It is not to say that it isn't a cool piece to display, just not meant for cutting down trees and other normal things. Gil Hibbins designed the Rambo III knife. Believe it or not, you can still buy a quality Jimmy Lile Rambo I and II reproduction knife that is actually meant to be used. They go for $2k+, but at the end of the day, that is what was really used in the films. The knife you have was made just to give fans and collectors a taste of the look and feel of the real thing, just not the functionality.
