"Trump's plans are hugely inflationary" in the short term maybe. But what Trump is doing is an American detox. Getting 20 million people out of the country will free up a lot of resources. Housing, jobs, healthcare, welfare, all sorts of infrastructure and resources that will make cost of living lower and wages higher for the average American. His plan to cull H1B Visas and institute tarriffs will force businesses to stop outsourcing and hire actual Americans. On paper, economic production will go down and inflation will go up. In practice, everyone will have a job, and get paid more, a lot more, in fact. This will also force businesses to hurry up with automation to make up for lost profits. The more expensive the labor, the more pressure you have to use that labor more efficiently. This will drive progress and innovation, further boosting the long term gain, for everyone. Additionally, Trump is going to cut taxes, which will drive up inflation, but will mean that more people actually want to live and do business in America so they can pay American taxes, which will increase the government's tax income in the long term, and these will be qualified, already well off people who will make America as a whole richer, instead of being people who only come to the US to enjoy its job opportunities and social safety nets and bring nothing to the table except cheap labor. Trump is also going to decrease government spending by cutting the fat, cutting red tape and streamlining the government. A more efficient government means a more efficient economy where things can get done faster and with less hassle. This will further drive market competition and increase economic output. If you don't believe in what Trump is doing, that's because you've never seen it in practice. I encourage you to look at examples like Javier Milei's Argentina for how well this system of small government and closed borders can work to revitalize an economy and make living more affordable. Keynesian economics have failed time and time again to produce stable, fair economies, time to listen to Rothbard for a change. Every economist that opposes Trump's plans is either a follower of Keynes or Marx. The first two years could be rough, but you will quickly realize that Trump has a lot of very smart people behind him advising him on policy. Much smarter than the people responsible for disasters like the 2008 financial recession, which was produced by Keynesian economists and their folly.

All I know is that the Republicans have two years to not fuck up tremendously. They have two years with essentially a full Republican Government. If they fuck up, they have no one to blame but themselves. So they best hope a miracle occurs, otherwise, the voters will go back Blue. The same will happen should the Democrats not do shit. I think that's how people will simply vote going forward, if they weren't already doing that.

dating apps should let people pick potential partners to communciate with and then allow people to send messages to those people that is part of a preference. then some of the people in the other end will respond or potentially becoem a viable date. you can not match people based on faces and profiles. educated dieas about dating is all wrong. dating start with frendship. then it evolves into deeper conneciton. it has nothing to do with the informaiton that your were educated to like. your was not born to like or dislike. all that you got from other people. what a person like in the future could be totally different to what the same person likes today.

More government programs is not the answer, as someone born inside a communist country I know all about the ever expanding useless bureaucracy that asphyxiates. Governments are essentially giant monopolies that need to be broken up just like companies, the lack of freedom and diversity in the market will ruin any country. As for equality, this doesn't exist anywhere except under the law.

15:00 these are leading questions, a form of gaslighting. Violent crime rates are down because they are not being prosecuted and because they are not being prosecuted they are not being reported. Why would you try to call the police if you know they won’t come? The rate of inflation is down but that’s like saying prices are rising slower now. Yeah but they ares still astronomical. The stock market is at an all time high, yeah that helps nobody but the 10% of Americans who own 80% of stocks, and they don’t really need any extra help. Unauthorized border crossings are down because the demonrats decided to authorize them haha. They are not down because they stopped illegals from entering, they just let them in under the guise of “asylum” and flew them to conservative areas of swing states to ultimately gain total control. What the liberal traitors are doing is dystopian, and yeah, young men like me who were sent to Afghanistan so that haliburtan could get rich see through the bullshit, and I’ll never trust these college “educated” (more like indoctrinated) liberal elites ever again. That includes republicans in name only. All the guys I served with agree. If we had it our way they would stand trial in a military tribunal for treason and get the same sentence I would get as an enlisted soldier if I was convicted of being a traitor, to be lined up against a wall and shot.

This wasn't a 1 man president can't effect huge change election. This was a "burn out the woke and red tape" election. Drill on gov land and fix refineries to lower energy costs and the price of all goods that are transported. Get rid of a DOJ going after companies that don't hire felons. Stop paying for gender studies degrees with tax money. Stop importing cheap labor that keeps our poor, poor, and drives up rent as they move in. Stop telling the men who do labor that they deserve less cause they are part of the Patriarchy. Stop judging us by our skin color because a laborer has more in common with another laborer than he does with a doctor that shares his tan. Maybe build some nuclear reactors or plug portables into old coal plants, then we can talk electric cars with cheap energy.

Why are you parroting the Phillips Curve? It was debunked in the 70s when we experienced stagflation. It’s easy to come across as economically literate when putting graphs and statistics on the screen. But you misunderstand how inflation and prices work. Monetary policy is set by the Federal Reserve, an institution that has devalued our currency. Wealthy people favor Keynesian economics as it benefits them.

I am quite confused after watching this. You seem like a very thoughtful person, who’s willing to do their research and is open to entertaining opposing views, all of which is superbly respectable. And yet you still somehow fall for the completely and verifiably false claims that ex. crime is lower, or that economy does well 😳. Sure, there are some indicators, that might create an illusion of things being better, but… look at all others… I don’t know where you live, but would you genuinely feel safer walking alone at night tonight, than 5, 6, 8, 10 years ago?

I can only reflect on my experience as a voter, and simply put, I feel stuck and politically homeless. I’m 20 as of writing this, and while I’ve been granted plenty of opportunity, that window keeps getting smaller and smaller and harder to get to. Couple that with prices out pacing my wage, and how I feel betrayed as an American taxpayer when my money is being used to fund foreign wars but can’t be given to FEMA to help hurricane victims, and you leave me angry and confused. Not to mention that Harris was not democratically elected to the position of nominee, and had been a part of the last 4 years of dysfunction, openly admitted that she was “comfortable” in her decision making, being the last person in the room on policy like the Afghanistan withdrawal, Ukraine and Israel spending, immigration, and more. As an independent and first time voter (for president) the decision was down to who I was better off under, and the answer was trump. I hate the division between me and my fellow Americans, I want us to get back to a place where we can agree to disagree and still be friends. It’s depressing, and the fact that it feels like us vs the big machine is crippling. While I appreciate this video and its insight, the main issue is not where we get our information, it’s what we’ve been feeling like these last four years. No matter how “great” the economy is, it is ultimately how we feel within the economy that matters, and to Harris’ detriment, we were very unhappy

No one ever talks about inflation because it's a natural consequence of the free market. Businesses can charge whatever the f-- they want, and who the h-ll are you to question it? Trump had an edge there because he's such a skilled liar. He's said tariffs are the magic that will make life affordable again. It's complete bullsh-- but Americans aren't smart enough to know that.

I love how people have been conditioned to think businesses are very efficient. Most businesses are more inefficient than government, and that's why they go bust. The waste in most private hospitals, for example, would horrify everyone. We all pay for that with 30 $ Tylenol.
@Predictbauer2 күн бұрын
Well what business wouldn’t be efficient if it could just rob its customers, and open lines of credit in the customers name to fund its self… you know like the government takes every one’s money and what it doesn’t take it borrows in our name. Of course govt is more efficient but less ethical than a private enterprise.

Dems completely lost the plot, ever since Obama's 08 and 12 blowouts they believe they can recreate that same energy out of the same old outdated out of touch practices of Obama's campaign. Running institutionalist neoliberal hacks like Hillary, Biden and Kamala. 2020 was an election Trump lost, not one the democrats won. The very edges of Trump's base got spooked by covid and fled to Biden (he only won by like 40k votes in 3 swing states) Their horrendous consultancy groups still live in 2008 and believe campaigning on CNN and MSNBC with some spec of social media is enough. While the Republicans have completely taken over everything that isn't legacy media. Twitter, TikTok, Podcasts, Influencers of all kinds, they are everywhere. The online conservative media empire is a juggernaut that makes legacy media look like a county radio show. And unless Dems purge the party like Trump did with the GOP from top to bottom draining the party swamp and bringing in a completely new strategy they are doomed to sub 230 EV losses forever.
@somebody52892 күн бұрын
What I understand from this situation: In politics, when a major party wants to come to power, they often need to counter the previous party's influence by appealing to certain groups' emotions. Economically, they can't make drastic changes without causing instability, much like how sudden shifts can create turbulent waves in the ocean. Sometimes they navigate these waters well, sometimes they get caught in a storm, but significant changes take time and people have to weather the rough seas during this period. Any necessary changes will need to be addressed carefully to avoid capsizing the ship.
