Just saying a very expensive caravan and car not a good place to leave the rig. Run the risk of damage from irate people fed up with the selfishness of the act

Housing crisis, daily I see an old man 74, living from swag and his car boot . Ppl live out of what they can afford or find. However, the disability pensioner is well out of line, 56789, alot of lines . He needs an uppercut and further shamed. 👍🇭🇲🦘

I travel Australia in an old VW campervan but I can legally park in a car park. I also live, & work in Cairns. Come May 1st a lot of people hate the caravaners as they will park there rigs on the esplanade, & take up 5 spots. We have heaps of caravan parking in the city but they don’t want to pay $8 to park. If I see them now I take a photo, & send it to the council via there app. This time of the year there fine as the parking is easy but come our winter it’s crazy up here.

Whilst this is a dog act... The numbers clearly show Victoria is not RV friendly and are better at issuing fines instead of providing safe passage. I bought my first caravan two months ago and first E bikes 4 months ago. I relised I have joined 2 despised groups in the eyes of the general public road users lol... We all need to do the right thing when and where we can.

What is wrong with people that are in a hurry or time frame as they could not organise to un hook there van somewhere in a caravan park or campground (like millions on Wikicamps or other apps)and then go and spend the day seeing what they want to see.Hope that person that parked across all the disabled parks was fined for each one for parking illegally.Your caravan is not permanently attached to your car and if you don’t like un hooking then maybe you should not be on the road

When I tow my 20ft caravan I always park away where there is plenty of parking and walk there with the wife. I would not do what he done and park across all those disable parks.

A efficent power supply! That would explain all the heat sink fins because it’s so efficient😂
@gorv4 күн бұрын
What makes it efficient is the fact that it is a dedicated 12V power supply that provided the correct current to the router, which means there are no power losses from using an inverter.

Unfortunately no. We are aware of them but have not yet had the opportunity to grab one and have a look at it. Hopefully in 2025 we will have the chance to do this. Thanks for taking the time to watch and don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more great reviews and content.

I get its a new product and they need to pay for the 6 years of research and trialing but the price is just a money grabber, drop the price and the sales will make up for it. We need more manufacturers from china to produce this item for the price to drop down to $2000.

Cosmo standard has been between $250-$299 just for unit not including anything additional. For the gen 3. Stellagrid offer an alternative efficient same principle device for less. Also other companies sell similar all to be used with your existing gen 3 system.

What about coming with van and get you guys to fit it?
@gorv25 күн бұрын
Hi Sandi, this gear is all plug and play. The hardest part is getting data cable through your wall... but if you already have the internal and external connection points, it's just a case of plugging the Cosmo in. Cowfish also has a specific power supply for the Starlink Mini ($169).

@SAAviationAirframes26 күн бұрын
Cowfish been selling these for a while not exactly new news, plenty of competition online for same concept and efficiency. Starlink themselves have also after a year decided to produce a 12v solution and price will be around usd$110. Still there will be a demand for aftermarket products providing price is lower than a genuine starlink power adapter.

While it looks like a good product, it's needs to be about half the price to be viable and worth it. A few 440w panels on the roof is around $500 .... yes you loose roof space, but you save $6000....

Moving the wire back and forth while waiting for the solder to solidify will create a cold joint, introduce voids and ultimately weaken the connection. Best to hold the wire as still as possible until the solder turns solid. I also agree with the comment below re getting the copper up to temp - heating the lug for a couple of seconds after plunging the copper will do the trick. Thanks for the video as it does show a couple of good options people can apply at home or in the bush with some different tooling - I like the bolt cutter crimper.

@MatthewBayard27 күн бұрын
How much power was it making during filming?
@gorv26 күн бұрын
Hi Matthew, at one stage, I went in the van and saw the van's solar system was making about 1700W in slightly patchy sunlight... but this particular van also had about 700W of solar panels on the roof. When the sun went behind clouds, solar input from the awning and roof-mounted panels dropped to between 700 and 800W.

Thanks for watching and for commenting. Sorry to hear that was your experience with On The Move. As stated this is opinion based and not everyone will agree with our choices. In our time with the particular model we did not experience this and the van reviewed was exceptional with new and innovative ideas implemented for 2024 - which is why it made the cut. We can only report on what we experience and what we see.
