Crater Lake has designated campsites: use those. If you want to free camp, find a spot on BLM land. There are some beautiful places out there.

How could something that is 100% pure beef last this long. Salt, the answer is salt.

22:30 that was definitely a fallen friend or family member stopping by to wish you well on your journey. BTW dollar generals are NOT amazing stores. They are cancer to community mom and pop shops that have been in tiny towns for generations.

The hamburgers didn’t bother me, I could eat the hamburgers, at least for awhile. But every time Zach held up that ziplock bag of chicken nuggets it made me gag a little.

Great information. I’m just wondering why so heavy though. I was going to try to do a 10lbs build out. Granted I don’t really know wtf I’m doing, just watching different videos on the subject

Stupid but honest question: why are trails curvy when you can make a straight shot trail?!? Lol I’m just wondering! I’m here looking in to Samuel Boehlke’s case. Your video came up. Checking it out. I love Crater Lake. Went there as a kid. I’m 51 now. I’d love to go back. I’m not skeert! I’m skeert to camp tho lol

No one is allowed to camp along the river banks either. Camped on the Umpqua River didn't have a problem, found out later that it's illegal. Arrived too late in the year to do the trail (research before you go very important!) so changed plans and traveled along the coast, and water between towns was a problem there as well. Next time arrive earlier and stick to the trail.

@2:00 one year when I was in my early teens I got my hands on a full brown bag of M80s for July 4th…to make this one step beyond a non sequitur, my buddy and I found ourselves at a public golf course where we had jumped the fence and lit up a joint when I had the bright idea of seeing if a M80 would go off in a ball cleaner. It was a success; pretty sure if I played golf I would have terrible luck for the rest of my life as that ball cleaner ended up peeled open like a BANANA! What little shits we are as teens…🤣🤣🤣🤣 🖖😎👍 Cheers!
