Hey noody, I have a question for you about the music. Do you happen to have an epidemic sound license? Normally I use it in my videos. Otherwise I will just search the net for free music or use the KZbin library. I just thought I'd ask because I got the license back then because I was annoyed by constantly playing the lottery with supposedly free music that wasn't really free after all.

is MRGA like something for the highly competitive people only to join? Im curious about checking it out just for roaming with other people here and there.

As someone that played years ago, i'm coming back to the game and want to do WVW roaming mainly with some zergs and high end dungeons, would thief or ranger be my best bet? (i like the look of deadeye and soulbeast.)

Man, I have been running a build I threw together which is: shadow arts daredevil critical strikes Spear + exloitation/compounding Sword/Dagger + energy/escape Valkyrie + Dragon Hunter + Atrocity (alternative relics are fireworks or daredevil for the extra crit opportunity) Taking the hidden killer trait in CS so then I can run Valkyrie amulet, all the utils that synergize with SA + the usuals. You start with swd/d cloak and dagger into steal then get the stealthed swd/d 1 to put a ton of exposure on them (you also take the trait in CS that applies more exposure when you steal so that is 20 stacks of exposure in 1 combo), then swap to spear, and the spear rotation is 3-2-2-4-3-3-1. You can also run this build with daredevil relic and replace critical strikes with acrobatics and then swap to the leap dodge on daredevil so you get the max amount of damage in from the might you gain with your dodges. You also get the added benefit of increasing your power and resetting cool down of steal when wielding a sword through the acro trait line. You just really have to be good at landing cloak and dagger on pets/clones or on players that you know are not blocking/evading. It plays more like a duelist than a roamer though, so I end up switching back to roamer a lot of the time in the pregame if there aren't any other roamers to help rotate.

QQ has been the biggest joke in WvW for so long. Everyone just laughs at how pathetic they are.

Honestly i started roaming out of spite. I got kickout of this shitty guild on sor. The leader is a pretty toxic person (pretty much she likes to harass people via whispers and mail and if you say something back she would go to the server discord and play the victim pretty much she is a 50 something that peak in high school). So i decided to lean to roam so if case we where againts eachother during betas o would Hunt her Down and everyone from that guild... it wasnt pretty. Eventually i met a few people that disliked her too and we form a 10 man squad that could annihilate her 30 something strong guild. It was glorious when they called their raid early

If I want a roaming fight, I go to pvp, wvw is for zerg, period.

WvW roaming started to go downhill when HoT released.

Better and more solo and small scale objectives. Make the world teeming with more objectives so smaller guilds or solo roamers can still be useful and encouraged to be a part the team alliance. All we really got it camps and guards occasionally towers. How about objectives that boost supply lines, objectives that assist friendly nearest towers with reduced upgrade costs/increased supply gain. Things that can be zerged, but make them faster to be retaken and many objectives so zergs have to pick and choose or they will be biting off more than they can chew. But i haven't roamed in years, so im not to privy on the meta much

The celestial nerf really didn't do what it was meant to do. The same builds are still running celestial and boons are still a problem in large groups even without running celestial. They need to nerf all the boon durations and cleanse access along with stability and cc so that there isn't just endless spam of abilities and endless ability to cover mistakes. They should remove out of combat from all game modes so if you want to heal you need to use your skills. A better balance would just be to double the CD of all skills and half the duration of every boon application in wvw.

true but still gerilla warfare shouldnt be stronger than the army. So the roamers shouldnt be able to beat down at a zerg even if we all hate getting hunted down when we stumble upon them in WvW. And most player that jump into wvw use their pve builds there are most certanly players that optimise for just wvw but pve players in wvw going up against pvp roamers are going to get rekt no contest so then they call in their map to help out on this. Its normal. Im not shit at this game but far from elit. But i could be on the best fucking build and a skilled pvp player on a shit build would still own me since pvp isnt my thing. But it is what it is. Worst is when 10+ groups with high skill players pretty much blocks you from entering the map. but hey that is also part of it even if it kind of kills the whole war on the map.

Most people call "havoc groups" "gank squads" and the concept of "random encounters with other people who happen to be running arround" is flawed - most gank squads go camp runbacks and activly avoid fights that might be even (vs other roamers/gank-squads). A lost of "small groups" just camp near guards and jump arround till some new players overextend then burst them and corpse jump a bit, rinse and repeat. In all honest, if you allways win, you are adding no value to wvw and are probably the reason the playerbase is shrinking. [yes I tend to play in a zerg and I very much enjoy running over gank groups, the reason is simnply because those gankers have spent a lot of time on thier builds assuming they will be fighting zerg build players in 1v1 battles that the zerg players dont want, its funny to turn the tables]

I am new player. Only * Roamers * i see is thiefs/elems/willbenders, that just one shot you and run away if they are losing with 10 blink and 5 invuls, not sure what u mean when u say gimmick in zerg, but all i see from roamers is gimmick, there is nothing else, no skill no challenge, they just speck everything to one shot someone who is afk and run away, so i would be very happy if roaming is dying or finally dead

I used to exclusively roam wvw as a D/P, D/D, and S/D depending on my mood. It felt amazing, i stopped playing for a long while, came back and the only people i run into are catas, willbenders or scrappers/mechs who just have so much damage output combined with hella boons/heals. Rarely do i find another thief, and when i do its either an annoying near perma stealth condi thief or a staff thief. Its sad, i just feel like most of the time the only way to get objectives is playing with zerg, but even then it can be difficult to successfully pick people off due to how mobile supports have become. I need some updated thief builds, I don't want to play perma boonlord. Willbender is enticing, but i kind of hate them for how theyve replaced thiefs in roaming.
