QQ was always a guild that harassed us whenever we’d have the displeasure of being at the wrong spawn in WvW. Every time I thought I had a good build, I was dissuaded otherwise by the stalkerish nature of this guild. Never even did anything wrong, just tried to leave spawn when they threw up a blockade.

I've been playing sPvP off and on since GW2 was released. I never talk to anyone, and never initiate whispers. Almost guaranteed every time I log in there will be some salty nerds whispering me or trying to chase me down the whole match. This video made it make more sense. I am living rent free in some nerds heads.

My first experience with QQ was an an uplvl in wvw where I killed Hadi and in 2 minutes I had 5 thieves chasing me and siege tossing me (I didn’t even know what that meant yet lol) 7 years later and they’re still just as mad. IRL threats, racist comments, homophobic snarks, they got it all lol. QQ is a shockingly childish and immature group of people, good shit

As someone who plays almost entirely PVE, I never knew this side of GW2. I played one pvp game for some dailies on an alt and the amount of flaming in the chat is crazy. I feel like the 'nicest community in MMOs' definitely overlooks the small patches of insanity like here lol

It's not the most common thing, but yeah, it unfortunately does happen. PvP modes tend to do that to people, and it definitely sucks when they make an otherwise lovely game into a bad experience.

I think I've been ganked by them too... well I clearly recognize their playstyle. Not even trying to conquer anything, but just intensely farming solo players and small groups. I know wvw is a form of pvp, but I remember having great times with enemy players, dancing while waiting for a vet to appear, or helping each other in puzzles etc. If stumbling on solo players who just avoid fights, I'm fairplay and assume they're pve gamers completing a wvw track, getting a gift of combat or doing dailies... I know how of a pain it is, so I let them go.

Thank you, really. Many many more players should be like you. If players actually engage in a fight, it's fair play, but if they try to just solo some shit, let them be. Exactly like you said, many pve players just want theif gift of battle and be done with it. I'ts the same bullshit with WoW and max level player ganking low level player while just questing and leveling. You know exactly what kind of person sits in front ot the monitor. Back in Wavy (1st) days, they harassed me because I told Hadi - who I thought I was on good terms with - to stop joining in our gvg. Bunch of misogynistic shit and even got antisemitism thrown my way… bro I am not even jewish, they just assumed because my first name has hebrew roots. One guy would send me in game mail weeks later from an alt account calling me fat when I was doing pve raids 😂 if I was just afking somewhere in pve, like at dragon bash, one of them would show up with some guild name about me. GW2 is such a good game with such a hit or miss community, with a lot of members who are extremely hateful and so easily offended. There are good players out there, but too many prominent players are just total jerks who don't care about the health of the game. sPVP is so bad, that if you beat or offend the wrong people, they will purposely throw games on your team, and hunt you down to make sure you lose rating. As a grown ass man who works and has a ton of responsibilities, I don't have as much time as I would like to play. These overemotional players who waste my time have always been why the game isn't as good as it could be. Thanks for bringing a little justice to such an unchecked hateful playspace.

Yeah ngl. Every time I try to come back to this game for WvW I realize the community has only gotten worse over time. It's like the majority of players still playing are the giga toxic ones that have nothing better to do than play the game all day and night. Nothing like joining a guild for a raid in WvW only for them to scream at their guild mates at the top of their lung because we got wiped. Not even getting into the fact that most WvW guilds don't even want to play the actual game mode. They just want to do "GvGs" and they talk down on literally everyone playing the actual game mode in any way that would actually be intended. I remember spending ages back in the day building tons of siege golems to hit an enemy keep with everything we have during peak hours. Nowadays no one hits anything, they just fight open field. Really hoping thrones and liberty does good so I can get back that feel of hitting a huge objective with a massive army defending it.

Funny. One of the MMORPG's I played, "Perfect World" had a bunch of Try hards in it. The guild was named, "QQME". Perfect World was pay to win, & one of the guild members literally sold his car to be the first one on the server to get R8-R9 gear. Games just aren't fun, when they are taken more seriously than life. & They were strong, but nobody enjoyed being around them... I'd much rather be in a guild with people I've become friends with, & enjoy the game on every other level. Even just hanging out at a popular spot & chilling.

One of my co-workers in crime told me that a QQ thief keeps spamming him with whispers and in-game mails about bming him because he (the QQ thief) OOC like 100 times in a fight and the QQ thief claims its an in-game mechanic, imagine thinking its an in-game mechanic, if that so then logging off is also an in-game mechanic... use it and get the fuck out lol

What a sick video my guy, these kind of “emotionally invested” moments against nerds is the pinnacle of video gaming for me. I don’t even play GW2, I have a question: is it hard to get into? To get fully geared and start pvping and have a chance? Lastly , you mentioned your 250 ping, is it possible that having a high ping can work as an advantage in some ways because of “ghosting” (other players see you in one spot but you’re not actually there because you lag a lot)? YEARS ago I used to roam WVW on a super tank mesmer. These guys would chase me around for hours (always at least 3+ guys) trying to kill me. I couldn't kill anything with my build so I would just have them chase me around the map as they try to kill me lol. Most of the time they would just give up.
