@@Noody We need you, Noody - especially educational Thief content doesn't exist elsewhere anymore. Vallun does the odd video every now and again and that's about it. Lord Hizen only farms skins and solos Leviathans, Yama's last guide was like half a year ago. Sindrener has been on hiatus again for the last two or three months, but fortunately he streamed again today, apparently (which I only noticed because I checked it for this comment).

Excellent Vid great tips I'm not a fan of no port zones In PvP maps as you have to manually learn these location areas and how does one learn they can't port there. Also you said kite and yet the whole video I did not see a single novelty kite 😅😂😂

This is a great video! We need more veteran players to break down these complicated aspects that are seamless and no-brainers to enfranchised players and translate these concepts into approachable topics for new and upcoming players. GW2 is STILL getting newer players, and the skill ceiling of this game still intimidates and discourages folks who are used to much different circumstances. If you could do more spot lights on subjects like spvp map literacy mid-game, or how to fight while behind, or even more importantly when cut losses... that'll be huge for a few guildies I know!

i love kiting and juking, when you pull it off it's so clean, you see it in fighting games alot more with whiff punishers etc... i always think kiting can be used to bait them off capture points... sometimes i'll purposely not heal to let them think they have a chance to catch me, other ways of kiting is travel in one direction and stealth and as soon as you stealth change direction

Spectral walk is the best skill in the game because of how important kiting is! love the skill so much. The amount of fakes you can do with it. Also you can port stomp with it and with wurm combo its funny af

@@Noody wait what...i sold mine,didnt know it gave aura like that T_T,oh anyway,is there any tips for pvp newbs like me how to deal with kite ( many blink in and out skill )class like thief or daredevil as rev player?,i play power ren on pvp my friend just give me simple advice "dont deal with them",in wvw i can at least dance around a bit since i got caried by my cele gear as vindi (i know im sorry im filthy cele enjoyer )but in pvp is seems impossible. edit :it could be a nice video series too how to deal with type of class in pvp,because ive heard that some class counter each other,cheers

I wish necro was playable without requiring fully loading the utility slots with kite skills. I stubbornly try bc I want to use other ones, but whenever I see high level necro footage I'm always reminded that I cannot mix it up at all and should at least take spectral walk + wurm on every single build :/

Yeah sadly necro is very prone to getting locked down so it’s almost a must to run those utilities

but.... you have a second health pool! And built in chill and boon rip and built in stability and built in damage reduction and amazing condi cleansing and solid healing capabilities and good quickness application and... Well the only thing necro doesn't have is mobility so it pays knowing how to position yourself in fights. You can't just zap around like a willbender. It's part of the intended design of this class.

Writing this at 1:19 and predicting that this guide is wrong and you are kiting in gw2 wrong. Now finished video and i thought you will be completely wrong but partially said right thing but then proceeded to show something different on screen. Anyway i just didnt get whats the difference between running around and kiting from you, you even got stunned and made step after it ended to turn around and called it "instantly kite away" . No offense obviously you are able to kite just not explain what it is and why/how to do it. But like on video probobly best gw2 pvp kiting guide on whole internet

Great talk, but your skills bar is so fast we cant see it. Please say which skills specifically are needed. Because we know kiting means you are flying to a spot, HOW THE F DO WE DO THAT? Kiting in itself takes good skill and decision making. I prefer it to a much more brain numbing playstyle of 'tank everything and button mash'
