I was lucky enough to play all of these! Another Crossover game that I think could fit in this list (although this one is less anime and more anime inspired games, although most of these series received anime at one point) is Aqua Pazza on PS3, I wish the game popped off, it was fun

I love how despite fans saying the big three is One piece, Naruto and Bleach. 2 crossover games I know of now put One piece, Naruto and Dragon ball instead lol.

I don't get why Jump hasn't made a polished successful Crossover fighter, they have the potential of making so much money. If they can actually get capable devs which seems hard for them to do LOL. I assume its because of the licenses, so they rather make them with short lifespans like Jump Force on purpose just to get a bit of money since its just an anniversary game after all. its disappointing because they could actually make a smash competitor. They just need a passionate director and time to develop, and with art direction that actually looks like a manga/anime. Perhaps another magazine could make a crossover game like weekly shonen sunday where licenses wont be as much of an issue.

i honestly thought that some anime just cannot be a arena fighter game, like one piece for example... is a Musou anime where one character beating thousands enemy like its nothing, while some other like naruto and dragon ball can be pretty good as arena fighter, the other one that can be good is JJK... i dont know how they fumble that bad

Another comment said it but I think you gave very little credit to the Budokai Tenkaichi and Ultimate Ninja Storm saga, they are quite good and fun franchises with a moderately advanced complexity (I say this more than anything because of the Budokai Tenkaichi which genuinely, are deeper than they seem).

my first experience to this game was dying to a character with aimbot and that is unreachable and is full high speed, i say ok im bad lets give multiple chances and after play 6 hours not a single win to the bird shit, unplayable shit

J-Stars Victory Versus was such a fun game man. Janky, laggy, unbalanced but maaan I felt like I was using Yusuke, Gon, Kenshiro, etc. Had so much fun online, learning neat tricks and sharing it with the community. Having small tournaments where we banned OP characters.

Kill la Kill IF was such a heartbreak. I knew it was probably the only game KLK would ever get and...it was an arena fighter. It actually was good for what it was, but it was also immediately dead online, only got Mako DLC, and was one of the most Poverty of discord fighters for the couple years people tried to play competitively.

I actually like One's Justice and One's Justice 2, but you can really see the lack of budget. Especially in the first game. First off, there's no English dub. Now that's understandable for J Stars and Jump Force because getting would require so many companies involved that it would be too difficult to do. . would run into a very real issue of someone preferring Dragon Ball, Yugioh, and My Hero Academia in English, but JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, One Piece and Naruto in Japanese. Someone in that situation would be stuck with a dub they don't like in addition to one they do. But My Hero Academia is one series, and the company that dubs it is the same one that does Dragon Ball Z and One Piece. But One's Justice goes one step farther. The prefight interactions aren't even subtitled. Which makes the inclusion of alternate voice packs as an optional customization option completely useless if you don't speak Japanese. Thankfully, 2 fixes this.
